Any links to relevant subreddits would be awfully helpful. I tend to stay away from reddit because it often drives me nuts. I had to unsub from every news sub because I was starting to go a little insane. I could trailer my reddit experience to things I'm interested in, but I've yet to come by any interesting subs that don't just post about the 300th reissue of Thriller. I'm open to suggestions. Just when it comes to vinyl, this has always been the best place for me to find music that I'm interested in. I know this place has died down a lot in the last few years but I think that were at one point THE place to get this information and I don't think we should give up to Reddit. We can be a better user experience. Collectively, we have so much knowledge and I think that we should use this place to archive that knowledge.

I'll agree with that. I've seen you genuine a few times, I will give you that. I'm not arguing just to argue, I honestly think some of these things need to change. Okay, maybe not the rumors, but for sure the mwY box sets that were all posted in the Untitled thread. And for sure the Billie Eilish 7" and flexis that all got lumped into an album. Each release deserves its own thread, if it is an actual release. This message board should also serve as an archive of accurate information on releases because we represent the actual hobby and we should care about accurate information so that we can be a resource. This message board has so much information and knowledge on releases than most Discogs listing and we should be proud of that and also take it upon ourselves to keep doing the best job we can to preserve our knowledge.

Sometimes, such as with the Saosin thread. That irked me because I knew there was already a thread about TTN that should have been bumped instead. I have no interest in Along The Shadow, I have no reason to check that thread. A catch all for one artist with multiple projects is just silly. Especially when it's basically just a record label. I like IIOI, and TTT, but I don't have any interest in PS or a Storm Chasers LTD Patreon. Why not just just one thread for every release. If one of these gets repressed, I don't want to dig through some Patreon threat. But if this gets repressed, boom, instantly to the top, everyone knows exactly what it is.

Yes, because the thread titled "Storm Chasers LTD - Patreon Membership - IIOI, T/T/T, Pet Symmetry, & More" makes much more sense for a single release.... Why not just have one thread titled "music"... All posts go in there. Don't wanna run out of threads.

Posting a release from 2003 in an untitled 2016 Saosin LP3 thread that's been buried for years since 2016 is more logical than creating a new thread for a completely separate release? That's only clutter if we have limited threads. Just like all the 7"s and flexis that get put in the Billie Eilish thread that never get their own "clutter". Or the Brother Sister box set that many missed because we didn't want to clutter up the board so we buried it in mwYs last albums posts.

Every album should have its own release thread. Whose checking this thread anymore, for any reason? You bumped a completely dead thread instead. Releases deserve their own threads. Cluttering the message board was a problem a few years ago, it's not a problem now.

Start a new thread for a new release. This is not fucking rocket science. We aren't limited to topics and burying releases into old releases by a different project is not helpful. I don't know when this stupid trend started happening but I've missed out on a bunch of shit I would have gotten if people weren't so lazy.
