Over the last few months, we have been staying on top of the vinyl manufacturers to deliver the records in the projected delivery time. We still do not have a firm ship date for all of the vinyl products but are being given the window for the products to arrive at our warehouse between April 12th - 16th. We're going to be seeing a lot of these I feel. I know we already have been for a while, but it's going to continue. I don't see it as a huge deal, but my advice is to keep close track of what you have ordered because it's getting confusing.

I agree with you, @tokimedo, $32 Shipped is a lot for 2 7" records but there's going to be a majorly different impact between spending $10 on a record on a Bandcamp Friday for these bands self-releasing a 7" than a $10 record sold through Rise records to a band with enough money like AFI. I'll happily spend $20 to support my local dudes in Every Time I Die because they still care about what they're doing and not just about making money. Plus, Andy Williams entertains me for free on TV every Wednesday.

Well, Science Fiction came out in 2017 so by the time Brand New decides to release a new album it'll be around 2025 and by then people might forget they got cancelled. Especially now that cancel culture is sort of being cancelled.

I wouldn't have, because I didn't. But I did think to myself, as an old fan of AFI, that this obscure 7" was limited to 1,000 and could be one of those things that is just random and never gets repressed again unlike with something like a Dance Gavin Dance 7" that I know will be continuously milked for every penny possible, so I did think of picking it up. I actually thought that the $10 price point that didn't even include a jacket was a bit much.

I know the music industry is struggling and doing everything they can to stay afloat right now, but AFI/Rise just made $10,000 off of a 2 song 7" by saying that it was limited and it turns out it's not? Things like this are just shady business practices and the absolute reason why I do not buy more from Rise Records. I trust them as much as I trusted Victory 10 years ago and I hope that they end up in the same spot.

It captures frontman Andrew McMahon during a darker period, after he was diagnosed with leukaemia. Some painful subjects are woven into the pop-rock and orchestral sounds. From the slow-burning “Spinning” to the razor sharp single “Swim”, it’s a versatile and colourful album. Jack’s Mannequin is the side project of Andrew McMahon from pop punk band Something Corporate. They recorded three albums during their existence. McMahon crafted some incredible pop songs for the band. The album, which also contains bonus track “Miss California”, is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on silver vinyl.

At this point, they ought to just start from scratch and produce a quality product because I have a feeling they are going to be going through a lot of refunds for poor quality. Such a shame that they couldn't get their shit together for such what could have been a very cool release.
