  1. My honest advice is don’t try. unless you are willing to commit to taking on the hours of a second job and not only not making a profit but realistically losing a couple thousand dollars per release. if you are still interested there are a couple people here that run labels that could probably help, but I’d guess their initial response will be the same.
  2. Yeah. The more times a record is mailed the more likely there will be a seam split.

  4. That hasn’t been confirmed. I hav not seen any test presses. It looks like he spent about $5k and bought all of the cds/records that were available besides the two big test press auctions.
  5. I stopped paying attention once they got over my price. I didn’t see what they closed at. We are under the assumption that this person did not get the test pallet or test trunk right?
  6. I saw the book shelf and it had the homesick records. I would have spent like $400 dollars on it. Not $3k.
  7. Let’s keep an eye out on discord eBay etc for when these hit the market

  9. Well they went ahead and added some pictures. Could have saved some time by doing that initially. as for the price. Unless this is being bought by a rich collector someone is going to make this their full time job trying to sell these.
  10. You watch the video of William and still listen to aiden?
  11. For the record if you are bidding on this and haven’t been to the location you are an idiot.
  12. It was also posted of chorus.fm which probably has 10X the viewers. the “attention” hasn’t been particularly positive.
  13. I don’t know. The two people that actually went there haven’t bid. Some of the boxes could legitimately be empty.
  14. The selling part I don’t have the time for. But the investment part would be very simple for me. I would do it all on a google doc to do that every can see exactly what has been sold and what they are due. They would be periodic amounts sent back so that you start to see return faster. say every 10 records sold you get your percentage due back. doing to in google docs would be my best way to be completely transparent
  15. I think we are kind of on the same page. the collective model would be kind of a hybrid of collector and reseller. Investors would have the opportunity to purchase records before any are sold. Any records they want are deducted from their investment amount. once the investors have bought, the rest are sold off until everyone getting their initial investment back. Once that happens all the records are split up and the investor has the opportunity to keep or reinvest their allotment.
