I have no skin in the game. I am seeing this band open for limp bizkit on Thursday. I checked them out and they sounded like evanescence. Am I missing something?

I haven’t bought a record in years. Life got in the way. I imagine I’ll start back up once my kids get older.

He is a producer. You probably have heard his work without knowing. turnstile turnover title fight tigers jaw Polar bear club tons more. while he has produced some absolutely stellar albums there are a dozen or so situations where he just buried the vocals to a point where they are inaudible. Although that could be the bands decision to create more of an atmospheric sound. Either way it ends up dividing fanbases.

When I win I’ll make sure to ask why he has the vocals so low in the mix.
