  1. Is it really wasting money if you listen to and enjoy the record?
  2. I would probably agree with that pretty closely. Maybe switch WTT and 808s.
  3. Yeah Pujols would be lower on my keep list....hoping with all this time off he can come back fully healed next year.
  4. Would depend on how many people we keep on the team...but he is one of my best players for the year. Numbers just aren't the best with the injury for the last month.
  5. Still getting codes / being able to put in orders myself. I had one record that kept auto-canceling, but the rest have been fine.
  6. I said the $26 was...The $30 a year is for way more than just this record and is cancelled out by them giving you a free record. If you want to say $9 is high on shipping I won't argue.
  7. http://www.target.com/p/grand-theft-auto-v-special-edition-xbox-360/-/A-14626013#prodSlot=medium_1_4&term=grand+theft+auto+5 Just put in your zip code and it will tell you the closest store with it.
  8. My thoughts: Why not just press more copies...on a different color vinyl? Then those that bought it because it was rare/to flip/ or to catch them all still have originals that are the actual amount that the company said they were going to release. Those that want one just to have one can buy the new color and since they just want one why would a new color bother them at all. Those that are completist have a new version to buy and the company can make more money by selling them this new version. If any company thinks there is any chance they may want to make more of a release in the future....just don't give out the release numbers. Say its limited but don't be specific. Once you state a number then sell more you are just lying to your customers. If you say its limited print all you want; it will still be limited to however many you make (or limited to the ammount of vinyl that exists on earth.) People that are complaining about the complainers....really? Different people buy/collect things for different reasons. Can't we all just get along? Is it wrong for someone to want to sell something some times? Is it wrong to keep a rare record in your collection and never let anyone else have a chance at it? Everyone has different opinions and we don't all have to have the same thoughts; thats a good thing!
  9. not a lie...just not completely read: 2012 is when the record was released...this summer/fall is when it was sold.
  10. Don't think it's a double standard...but Ill try to explain more. The OP to me just seemed like he wants to complain and have his voice heard. I think $26 for a record is probably a little high, but pretty much the industry standard right now. Why pick on one company when they are all doing it? This isn't a $50 new Ty Segall record (which yes is over priced.) The shipping price being high for 3 records...well have you shipped anything lately? Every shipping company is raising their prices; shipping isn't cheap. If his compalint was about them selling way more of these then how "limited" they claim them to be then hell yeah that is a welcome and needed complaint. Thats just my opinion...
  11. Black is the new 5th pressing. 1st- Pink 2nd - White (NYCC Exclusive) 3rd - Splatter 4th - GID (RSD Exclusive_ 5th - Black
  12. Just got back to a local listening party. Won the test press! Need to watch the DVD they included with it now.
  13. Don't think I defended it at all. Just stated thats what many labels are selling records for lately. If you were running a business would you lower your price if you didn't have to? If you a few hours to waste I will gladly tell you the labels that piss me off with their stupid practices.
  14. Correct. Of course they have only had 1 a year I wanted. But I have seen lots of bands/labels sell records for way more than $26 and people not call them high. Plus they have sales/discounts all the time. If everyone thinks the prices are too high no one will buy it and they will either lower the prices or stop making the product. However looking at how much they have started releasing I think sales are doing just fine.
  15. Yeah $30 a year for a record and unlimited streaming/downloading of full sets from thousands of artists. What a rip off.
  16. Both of mine were nice and full LPs. If I like the record I buy...if I don't like it I don't.
  17. Well you probably didn't buy their deluxe Hot Fuss LP on 10 7"s then.
  18. I can if they are still there when I get home, but can't do it here at work. As long as I can get those two guys back I'm fine with the league going either way. We just had people saying it was and wasn't in the thread (sometimes the same person.)
  19. I hope there is a Test Press version that is limited to 100 copies. Becuase evidently Test Press is a term like Bootleg that means different things to different people.
  20. Your wording "Fuck It" by definition wouldnt that mean to have sex with it? However, people now use that term for more/other things. Language evolves.
