I'll give you Paloma, but Something Good and Sprawled are definitely not boring and lifeless. Those are both in my top five on the album.

I actually really like Diorama and Sprawled. Something Good and Paloma are pretty forgettable though.

Fair on both, I'm glad y'all like it. Paloma was truly a chore for me to get through especially since it was at the end. But if anything that just means you can end the album early.

  4. The COVID hobby idiots are ruining it for everyone. In the new vinyl releases group a bunch of clique morons keep saying a $30 12" with 18 minutes of music is totally fine. Then they double down and say "oh aftermarket is $50 so this is good." Meanwhile someone replied with the new Pure Noise EPs on a 12" for $18 and we're sitting there like, you wanna keep making this point??? And they do. $30 single LPs are so exhausting and sadly becoming the norm and pushing me out. I'd much rather have money for anything else than a fucking $30 LP or a $40 2xLP.

Edit: sorry if this was unhinged or random it's just been annoying me a lot the past day.

They are headlining a pretty small venue in St. Louis is a couple weeks and while I really like but don’t quite love the last album, I’ve heard such raves about them live I’m gonna try to go.

I think you should! Ours was 200 cap and being sold out made it a lot more fun. Granted it wasn't oversold so it wasn't cramped. I really love the new album so I'm biased there. Most of their setlist (12 songs) is the new album but they threw in a few from LP1.

  6. Last night was the end of Pool Kids first headlining tour and I specifically waited for a headlining tour to see them. Unfortunately half the band was sick so they played as a 2-piece for the first time in several years and it was really great! A couple touring guitarists stepped up and learned 2 songs in less than 24 hours which was so cool. Maybe the best two-piece band I've seen live.

I ordered the most limited variant of Dimensional Bleed through them and instead of having it canceled for being oversold it automatically changed to the standard variant. It was my own personal 9/11.

That's beyond lame of them. Did they ever say anything about it? Also crazy because I ordered the /250 oxblood galaxy around the time they arrived in hand and restocked it on their website.

    From the article:

Orange County legends Eighteen Vision are now releasing their third single, "Fix Me," off their upcoming release, Purgatorio, which will see a physical edition through Lambgoat Records, including limited vinyl variants available only through Lambgoat and No Echo.

"Fix Me" is the third single from Purgatorio, the next release in a 3-part installment series from the band.

Eighteen Visions vocalist James Hart shared the following:

"Lambgoat has always been a great resource for hardcore and metal. Always supporting 18V. We'd been having internal discussions on how to best maximize our upcoming Purgatorio release and the prospect of Lambgoat and their new label came up. Their legacy along with where we are as a band felt like it would be a nice fit. We look forward to working with them as they begin their next chapter in the world of hardcore and metal."
