Title Fight released Kingston, their debut 7", in February 2008 on Flight Plan and Attic Records. Shortly after its release, both labels went defunct and the three-song EP was re-released in 2009 on Six Feet Under Records with an updated layout. This was the first era in which Title Fight was leaving their hometown, traveling around the Mid Atlantic and New England on weekends and on breaks from high school. In summer of 2009, the band released another three-song 7", The Last Thing You Forget, in the middle of their first full-US tour and "Memorial Field," "Loud And Clear," and "Youreyeah" were then included on the CD and digital versions of that release. Since then, this EP has remained out of print in its original format. Purple Circle has now reissued Kingston on a 7" for the first time in 14 years, returning to the original 2008 layout and remastered by Will Yip at Studio 4.

I don't think it's just this specific label. A single lp shouldn't, under any circumstances cost 30 bucks. Also band merch as well, a gildan shirt with one color print shouldn't cost as much as a fancy brand's shirt. Something really went off in the past few years.

I agree but MNRK Heavy has been on something recently. They're the same ones that put out $17 Underoath 7-inch this week.

Thanks for the info @N8TRU. if you don't mind...do they have any idea of when the Nothing collab will be out?

I don't know for certain but I would think with the GASP split and fall tour with END that it'll be next year. Maybe in the winter or spring. It has to be soon and it might be big enough that Relapse needs more time to make sure it gets the attention it'll deserve.

They'll definitely repress this so I'd just hold out until then. Not sure what a gamble it would be to either hold and wait or to just return for full refund. In that condition they should just let you keep it and give you a refund. Not like they are going to resell that or anything.

I sadly hear the hissing on my copy as well, but outside of that it's decent.

    I agree.

Is the hissing in the beginning of each side or somewhere else?

  5. Sorry to bog down the thread. I did a spin clean last night and I'll admit it sounds better overall except for the hissing. I can't find a single scratch on it. My only guess is it's because it's too thin and this copy was poorly pressed in general. It's annoying that after over a decade of problems with Merchnow they and EVR truly don't give a shit or even try to hold extras in case of issues. At this point I'll just keep it and maybe buy a second pressing if they do one.

seems weird that they’d put FOH’s logo on the label.

Not weird at all. They have their own label. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAVVtzdJDot/

Quote from IG post from 2020: "Full of Hell has been a band for over a decade. When we started this band, we never guessed that we’d be able to accomplish any of the things we’ve been able to do, and a lot of that was due to A389 Records taking a shot and believing in us early on, releasing our first two LPs, “Roots of Earth are Consuming My Home” and “Rudiments of Mutilation”. Dom (A389) was a constant pusher for our band and gave us guidance anytime we needed it. Late last year, he allowed us to take over and repress these ourselves, and we are now able to announce a long time goal - our first self release, which is taking the form of a deluxe DLP/2CD reissue of both albums together, featuring brand new artwork by @gentlemercies . We have been working towards something like this for years, and we are excited to offer music to you directly from us. Preorder goes live on Wednesday at 12 PM EST through OUR bigcartel and bandcamp. For the first time, you will be able to buy an album directly from us. Thanks for all the support. This is FOH-001."

Some of you know they're a local band for me. I think they were right when they said PM meaning noon. If anyone really wants me to I'll reach out to them since we're friends but I don't think they'd get the time wrong.

  7. It might just be my copy but it's bottom of the barrel quality. I'm not sure if I should contact Merchnever or not. I've had plenty of negative experiences with them even if this isn't their fault. The splatter pellets have gone outside the edge so the dead wax isn't round and I have no idea what happened. The dead wax where the pellets cut outward is actually cut short compared to other sides of the record. On top of that, there's a hissing sound each rotation in the same spot on both sides where the splatter is the heaviest. I'm thinking maybe the record isn't thick enough or the grooves aren't deep enough. The record isn't flat either. I'm going to give it a spin clean but regardless the plant really dropped the ball on this one so don't feel bad if you missed out. In my opinion the sound quality isn't impressive either.

I hope no one else's copy sucks this much.
