Anyone have any recommended pop releases for May?

Sacred Skin (originally Second Skin) put out their debut "The Decline of Pleasure" on cassette and digital. I really liked it. I found out about them when Drab Majesty did a remix of their song Eyes Closed in 2021. If you like Drab you'll like them. https://sacredskin.bandcamp.com/

I also really liked Becky G's album "ESQUEMAS" which is surprisingly only digital. She's huge with English and Spanish listeners and go figure she was coming to Delaware but the show got cancelled. I speak English and Spanish so I'm biased but I definitely recommend her stuff.

I haven't gotten to CARR's new EP (I guess?) "TV Boyfriends" that dropped Friday. Digital only. https://carrmusic.bandcamp.com/album/tv-boyfriends

2 others I haven't listened to are Isaac Dunbar's “Banish the Banshee” and Hayden Casey's “Nothing is the Time”

Purity Ring should have a new EP on June 3rd which I'm sure will be great.

On a more positive note Slayyyter surprised us with a new variant of the self-titled mixtape that she still hasn't said anything about lol. It was $45 at her Philly show AND signed. I couldn't resist. She's my favorite pop artist. It was cheaper at other shows and I don't think she's sold too many copies so if you're seeing her live in the future keep an eye out. She also had really nice tour posters for only $15 but I have to get a custom frame for it.

I forgot about them. I liked I Got Fucked Up. Did they ever release a full length through DTR?

They kind of put out a second EP. Whether or not it was on Drive-Thru or self-released I don't know. I assume it was self-released. It took a while for all the songs to drop and they were only on Facebook and YouTube. If I remember right I booked the last show they played back in 2014. Ty is a firefighter now and the other guys that I know personally are still around Delmarva.

Here's the full EP in a playlist on their channel:

This guy did a fan-made documentary about the band that was pretty good:

  4. Oh heck yeah. Psychosocial is still my favorite song (sorry for being basic). Once I get these reissues and WANYK I'll have every album I want. I'm not a fan of The Gray Chapter. I actually never got slipknot records until this year because I figured it would be too hard to complete their discography so I stuck with CDs.

Look at Time & Space. There have been no new variants after the initial 1st press. You’re saying that “more variants will keep showing up” when in fact no other variants after the initial preorder and Revolver bundle have been posted for half a year at this point, so it's a baseless statement.

There has been a new black repress for Time & Space in Europe which I got recently. It came out 3 years after the first press. It's slightly different on the back side of the jacket.
