I don't see why the employees of a store are any less entitled to be a consumer of the stores goods. It's a perk of where you work. I've never felt bad seeing movies for free or having clients comp me drinks etc. They work at the store, probably for less money than they are worth, so I have no issue with it.

Fuck I don't know. I have 2 of them and I had the signed one in a frame and it looked cool on my wall but then I decided $45 would look cooler in my wallet. 

I'm looking to upgrade my cart from the standard Music Hall Tracker. I'd like to stay in the $100-$150 range, and I'm mainly between either the Ortofon 2m Red or Grado red/blue. Also, I've read mixed opinions on whether or not a heavier counterweight would be needed with these. Can anyone that has a 2.2 chime in with your opinions / suggestions and what worked for you?

I own the original silver picture press and it sounds alright, though not as good as the CD version I'd say. Which is only natural since it is really a picture disc, and these physically can't sound as good as a proper black pressing. The problem withe that pressing was that they shrink wrapped the records too soon after pressing which resulted in crazy bumps in at least the batch my copy is from. It plays well on a good turntable but watchign it spin looks pretty motocross. According to the CD back cover, De-Loused was released on GSL and licensed to Universal (ATDI had their share of fame so they weren't naive about what how to release Mars Volta stuff). IIRC it was the other way round with France (released by Universal, licensed for vinyl to GSL). So since GSL is no more (sadly) who's gonna re-release it? I once heard Three One G (another great label worth checking out) was about to purchase the rights to the GSL releases but I don't know if that came through. Boot looks pretty professional to, btw. Looks like they got hold of the offset plates for the covers?!

if they did a 2x12" gatefold with printed inners and the original poster I can see a $44.99 price tag being very likely.  I'd buy another.

I thought you might find this funny but I ran out of room awhile ago on the 5' wide Expedit black unit I had and bought a 2nd one in white thinking I could swap shelves and stuff and make them both black & white mixed. I thought this was a pretty cool idea until I removed everything from the black shelving unit, disassembled it and then realized the holes were drilled differently on the white set and my idea wouldn't work. I can still hear my wife laughing at me.
