Now I'm torn between 33 & 45... dammit. Very glad to hear it's coming for sure either way.

has anyone received this on vinyl? i keep calling my local store but they havent got it in yet.
I picked it up during release week, but it seemed to be in short supply around town.
-
I didn't see too much information that was new to me here, but wanted to pass it along just in case:

Woo hoo! TMR to open shop in Detroit.
I'm only about 20 minutes from the Detroit location, so I was very excited to hear this!
-
Saw this in a store for the first time yesterday and ended up picking it up. Sounds really, really good.
-
4 is interesting to me because the softer tracks like Atlanta and Glide sound great, but some of the heavy rockers sound flat. Still glad I picked up a copy.
I'll probably end up doing the same just for the completist aspect.

Maybe someone on this site can help:
Good tip. They've got Another Part Of Me listed for $300, so I'm guessing the OP's I Just Can't Stop Loving You would be valued around the same.
-
I've filed all Crowes re-issues under "I'll Believe It When I See It".
Such a bummer, but that's they way it is.
-
I think it's the other way around. The world is pushing for Friday and RSD wants to keep tradition, albeit in a small way.
That's cool by me as long as the vinyl releases aren't delayed until the week after the digital versions.
-
It's not about the number. I'm just saying someone who has been more active is more likely to have made friends here who would help them out. If you are friends with someone you are more likely to go out of your way to help them out. If it's a total stranger, most people aren't going to drive out of their way to buy a record that costs $20 and sells for $300.
I can dig that. I guess I just file a lot of those posts under "It never hurts to ask", ya know? More often than not, I see so many innocent posts being met with outright hostility and it just gets old. I'm not saying you were being hostile, I'm just saying I get where the user was coming from on it.

As long as the vinyl versions come out on the Tuesday before the digital versions, I'll be fine with this. I have no interest in waiting an extra 4 days just because the RSD people want to make it a thing for no reason.
-
Understandably, and that's why I said it's a long shot - I get it.
I may be largely a stranger, but I did introduce myself.
We all start somewhere ,right?
I've been slowly posting, when and where it's relevant.
I have made a few purchases/trades to start building up my feedback (even offered to help out with a few RSD things).
I haven't made any unneeded threads or otherwise acted like a noob to get known for the wrong reasons, but I am also not posting a bunch of BS just to pad my post count.
I presented some information and added a request (mostly joking but part hopeful) just on the off-chance that it could happen.
Even if the answer is probably no, you can't get anything if you don't ask for it, eh?
Good luck with that mortgage payment, btw.
Excellent post.
I can't tell you how many times I see these "hipper than thou" posts and it's just irritating. Who gives a shit about a post count?

Wow. That's cool as hell. I don't have the cash to own it, but would love to.

I want those plum 7", but I don't. Ugh. Decisions.

I've been going to the RCRD STRE my whole life. In there, they have this thing called the BRGN BN, were they sell out beat up records for a QRTR.
Can someone explain to me how VYNL is different than that?

I didn't think No4 sounded all that great, so it's not an immediate buy for me. I'm sure I'll get it at some point. I wish they'd do a proper remaster of No4 and this and press it domestically. A lot of recent MOV stuff has sounded identical to the CD on A/B comparison. I'm not really throwing money at stuff like that anymore.
I really like the sound on Core through Tiny Music, but I held off on buying 4 because of what you're saying. I saw a LOT of posts where people were saying 4 just doesn't sound that great.
-
A definite PO once available. Wish I have Purple on the Purple Colored Vinyl (I only have MOV's Black version) and all the rest of the issues in colored vinyl.
My Core and Purple MOV issues are black, but I happened to get the blue pressing of Tiny Music. I usually don't care one way or the other on limited pressings, but that one looks pretty damn sweet. I may have to seek out the limited version of Shagnri La as well.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss. I'm all over this.
-
I may give in and order this from overseas soon. Really don't want to wait til August for the US release.
-
I know a lot of people just default to saying that heavier weight automatically sounds better but I would take Juans word on sound quality.
Right on. I'm not doubting anyone, but I was also happy with the sound on the US pressing.
-
So happy for those of you getting one but I'm so bummed I can't.
That's where I'm at with this. Really happy for those who are getting them. I'll happen across one someday I'm sure, but I'd rather it be sooner than later.
-
Weird. Lucky on getting it.
It's just overall better than the U.S. edition. Heavier weight vinyl and sounds much better.
I don't know the "rarity" per se.
Am I alone in thinking the US pressing sounds just fine? I've seen several people say that the UK version sounds much better so I'm always wondering about that.

This continues to be such a pain in the ass. I can't imagine who keeps stopping these, but I'd sure like them to knock it off.
