  1. Scott M (smccown13) has gone above and beyond trying to get me a record, despite the post office's best efforts to thwart him. Fingers crossed that third time's the charm!
  2. If kevinb doesn't float your boat, check me out for Vheissu
  3. Right now it's SP SP RP RP P P P The two RP spots will go to closers, and one or two of the P spots will go to middies. So, we're looking at 3-4 SP's per team. With 30 teams in MLB, each one with 4-5 SP's, we're only going to be pulling from the top ~35% of SP's. It's not going to be competitive at all. As for bench positions, five isn't very many. Especially when it's split between pitchers and batters.
  4. I'd argue that it's not too many position players, it's too few pitchers. With a 12 team league and the current # of pitching spots, every team will have stellar pitching. If you cut back the number of positions, every team will have great position players too. Thus, negating the need to gamble on rookies, streaky players, etc. Also, looking at the stat categories: R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SH, SB, TB, AVG, OBP, NSB, OFA, W, CG, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, QS We don't need SB and NSB (steals and net steals). Drop one. I'd also drop SH (sac hits), TB (total bases - it will be the same result as H+2B+3B+HR), OFA (outfield assists), CG (Complete Games - they're ridiculously rare in this day and age) and QS (quality starts). Those are my thoughts, any way.
  5. And if you buy one of the last two, you should get #99 or #100, both of which are totally bitchin!
  6. Don't forget the fifth press of Young Mountain that just came out: http://magicbulletrecords.com/mailorder.html

  11. I never realized you were my father-in-law.
  12. Just got mine, #86. Looks and sounds great! The blue looks great with the label.
  13. The Wednesdays are playing?! I wouldn't have given it a second thought until I saw that.
  14. I love Thrice, but I still can't believe that terrible cd goes for so much bank.
  15. fair enough. For pure selfishness' sake, I wish I'd picked up more than one copy of Regulate the Chemicals. I bought it at a show, and I remember thumbing through a milk crate full of them, to find a color I liked. Shoulda knocked off a gas station on the way to the show, bought an extra twenty or so, and made a suit out of them.
  16. What's your biggest vinyl regret? Now, I don't mean, damn, that record was a waste of $20, regret. I'm talking, damn, if I had only picked up _____ at that show ten years ago in that guy's basement, then the sky would fill with rainbows, all would be right with the world and I wouldn't be beating my kid out of the frustration of what could have been. So, what's yours?
  17. var ads = new Array("300x250-1.png","300x250-2.png","300x250-3.png"); var num = Math.floor(Math.random()*ads.length); if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) { if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) document.write('+':q6w4hsv1]'); else document.write('+':q6w4hsv1]'); } else { document.write(''); }
