yo i don't know if you guys are paying attention but Post. Recordings has some sick, sick stuff available.

I just picked up both variants of I Hear Sirens - Beneath the Sky, but they've got The Introvert - Carry the Bomb, Carry the Power and that album is awesome.  It's so different but i love it.  Almost like ambient synthwave mixed with S/T's programmed drum ideas.

Also, IN EXCELSIS BY TEOTO ON VINYL FINALLY!!!!  I'm very proud to say that I was sort of the genesis of that, linking the band to my buddy who works for Post.  It sounds ***INCREDIBLE***.   The re-recorded On Floating is *so* good.  you must check it out.

Just got my I Hear Sirens and Introvert in. Little disappointed in the Introvert, on first listen. Feels like he and Chris are just doing whatever they can to be 'artsy' and get away from TWDY. I'll give it  couple more spins though, and maybe it'll grow on me.

  2. Four mailers gone, would love to get some more out the door. Anything paid today ships tomorrow.

New bonus, for the artists where I have three of their releases left (Album Leaf, Glaciers, Inventions, This Will Destroy You, Windmills By The Ocean). You can now get all three for $25 (plus shipping)! For the artists where I have two releases left (Giants, Mono, Souvenirs Young America, The Summer Pledge, Talvihorros), get 'em both for $15).

Think $10/record is too high? I'm a reasonable person, make me an offer!

  3. I've got too many mailers, so pick as many records as you want from this list for $10 each (bold titles are $5!), plus $5 shipping (no matter how many you order). PayPal and Venmo accepted, freebies with every order. DM me, first come first served. Sale ends when I'm out of mailers.

The off-topic responses do tend to undermine its intended purpose, which is to identify a reputable, reliable vinyl pressing organization that is actually accepting orders.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of people here aren't regularly pressing records. To find a facility that's currently accepting orders, you'll probably have to start reaching out to pressing plants.

This is very helpful! I've been googlin' and googlin' and it sounds like GZ is a big operation and YES I've seen mixed reports on them. My mastering guy has a dude I want to use to cut a lacquer. I plan to call my dude tomorrow and I'll have to ask about DMM so thanks also for that tidbit. I'm ready to press 500 copies and I'm not that concerned about shipping amid all the other costs. That said, I'm in Los Angeles. Isn't RTI in Cali somewhere?

Yeah, RTI is in suburban LA, and they put out a really nice product! Oh, and if you have a guy cut a lacquer for you, you can't use Pirates. DMM doesn't use lacquer, it cuts on a different material disc

Ehhh i should not have mentioned it. I got defensive when youspinmeround said I have 'no experience.' It's SDK in the movie Eurotrip. I share credit with three other guys.

    Catchy fucking song, congrats!

Pirates presses through GZ Vinyl which some people don't like because they use Direct Metal Mastering. But honestly, most people can't and won't be able to tell the difference. They're probably a good option for you because they're an all in one, and you're doing a small, first pressing. You mentioned United in Nashville; they're notorious for their questionable quality and I wouldn't recommend them. Geographically, where are you located? If costs are a concern, you could save on shipping by pressing at a plant where you could go pick them up.

Frankly, I'd take whoever will accept your project. Most plants are so backed up, they're not taking new orders. Or they're only taking orders from established clients.

Tell your wife to use public transit, it's safe and goes anywhere she'll need to go. The metro is awesome, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Interesting, I'm a big transit fan (and will still use it), but was 'warned' by a colleague in Toronto that the Montreal metro was weird and you had to know French to use it.

The show yesterday was phenomenal. The sets by Thrice, AK3 and Dashboard were all heavy on older/Vagrant stuff (Ak3 only played off their 3 vagrant releases).

The show was so amazing! I noticed at Riot and Furnace Fests last year, that Thrice and The Get Up Kids are still playing lots of new stuff live. And I get it, they're still putting out records, but c'mon. You know damn well why we're all at a Vagrant showcase, and it's not to hear the new songs.
