Do you have any info on pressing of that jack white....not from a quantity but source of recording, how it was mastered, by whom, etc?

 

 

Source sounds like a direct feed from the mixing desk. My guess JW mastered it, or at least oversaw the process, at United Record Pressing

*BUMP* Just found out about this release and figured I would bump the thread for those that might have missed it. It's still up on his site for $29.99 + $5.00 shipping. 

I just broke down and picked up a copy on Discogs for $86 from Japan. Shipping sucks, $17 total without tracking.....ugh....

It beats paying $300-400 for an original pressing. This hands down is one of the best soundtracks to come out during the 90's

Got this in the mail today and its totally worth the money I spent on it. I cannot recommend this release enough guys, The soundtrack is solid, the movie is excellent, and this option is WAY cheaper than buying an original pressing. 

 

Do we know how many were pressed for this release?

 

 

It comes in a very nice/heavy PVC bag, just like the ones that Simply Vinyl used to use

 

 

 

 

Eat Me, Drink Me was a train wreck and it was clear that not having Twiggy in the band hurt the music big time. 

So pumped to finally own the NBK soundtrack! I was never willing to pay the $300-400 for an original pressing.

Damn, I hope everyone who wanted this jumped on the pre-order options as it seems like the price has gone up $10 to $55 per copy now. I just checked my tracking information and it looks like this OST should be here today! SO FREAKIN' PUMPED TO FINALLY OWN THIS!!!

 

Now if we could only get Lost Highway repressed.....

I hate UO when it comes to their vinyl. I have one location near me that opens every record and only leaves the jackets out on the sales floor. They said they do this to help prevent theft but they remove the plastic wrap completely and so the jackets get all screwed up, not to mention most download cards are missing. When you go to pick up the LPs behind the counter, they have them stored on a box and sticky notes on them letting the sales rep know what record is in what sleeve. Who knows how damaged these records are since they are laying on top of one another and weigh a ton. To top it all off, they still charge you full price even though the records are clearly no longer in new shape. Needless to say I no longer go to that location because it hurts to see so many records being treated like that. 

sweet, the seller apologized and offered €25 as a refund. 

It came from Germany in one of those shitty recycled mailers

 

 

 

Anyone have any cheap recommendations on how to fix a warp that is this bad?

Ugh, and to add insult to injury I just noticed that he overcharged me for shipping. I paid € 10.00 and the stamps on the mailer only add up to € 3.45 >

GODDAMNIT!!! I finally have this LP in my hands and it came with a HUGE warp due to the shitty mailer the seller used. 

Holy shit, I just listened to some of her music for the first time and I had no idea she was rapping. Based on her look and name, I thought she was another run-of-the-mill pop star like Britney Spears......
