I can't remember when we stopped doing the instant mp3 download with pre-orders.  It's been a while though.  It just didn't mesh with the way we were doing the press campaigns and the song premieres and whatnot.  For example, we still have at least two more new Dikembe tracks to debut within the next month.   Kinda tough to build momentum / excitement with stuff like that if you've already released the album digitally.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we've been releasing the digital at least a couple weeks earlier than the official release date.
 
I can tell you this: I'm relatively confident that we'll have the Mediumship vinyl before Dikembe leaves for tour on July 11th.  No promises, of course, but things are looking good.  In that case, pre-orders will most definitely start shipping early, and I'm digital download codes will probably go out at the same time.

As i've fucking said a thousand times it's obvious there are far better turntables, but they cost a lot of money and there are people who dont/wont spend hundreds of dollars on a player...
