  1. So I decided to go on r/vinyl just to see how bad it is, and some guy made a thread claiming he was "drunk on Amazon" and some random records showed up. But he's lucky, because he just happens to love those albums!
  2. 4chan is now just where redditors go when they "grow up" and want "shocking dark content" etc. In reality each board is a shitposting frenzy.
  3. Yeah but it's shit like getting off topic and smart ass answers that make VC so fun (for me at least)
  4. This, so much this. If Ubisoft has any brains they would make a full fledged Blood Dragon game. It's so stupidly fun and over the top, it's what a videogame should be.
  5. I just beat it last night, and HOLY SHIT this game is balls to the walls amazing
  6. Buy more records! Play some records!! Do something with records!!!
  7. Actually Apple was well known and successful Yeah I can see what you mean, if it's something once in a lifetime like meeting him or getting a more major role then it'd be worth it. But Paying $1,000 to be an extra is flat out insane, but the big thing is that crowd funding like this is abused to all hell. He can (and most likely will) make like 3 million or more, and I doubt ALL that money is going to go in to the movie/post production/anything to do with the movie at all. Just this whole thing makes me skeptic, and I've only had bad experiences with Kickstarter so that might be the reason I'm totally against this.
  8. Yeah but when Investors actually Invest in something like the iPhone they Are investing in an already known, successful business Make a cash return on what they invest in Have the ability to take legal action if someone just runs off with the money The problem is that this guy has the money to do it, but he's just greedy and won't let actual investors in who will make money off him so he'll offer cheap prizes on Kickstarter and rake in more cash. I mean just look at the "rewards". $100 for a vinyl or advance screening, $2,500 just to be an extra (he's actually making money by hiring people). To me shit like this boils down to greed most of the times, yes sometimes there are actual useful or cool things people make when they need the money. In this case though, I smell greed.
  9. Egg roulette? Not really a test of strength but luck: Just get a bunch of eggs hard boil all but a few and put em in a bowl. You smash them up against your head and the sucker who gets yolked loses.
  10. So this company, SkaPunkPhotos is auctioning off signed prints of different artists (Frank Turner, Fat Mike, Coolie Ranx to name a few) to donate 75% of proceeds twords victims of the Boston Bombings and Hurricane Sandy. Just thought I'd post it here if anyone was interested in getting awesome prints for a good cause http://www.ebay.com/sch/skapunkphotos/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
  11. Alright so I'm getting really paranoid about this: is it okay if my records lean a little bit? I try getting them straight but they always seem to lean to the left or the right a little. Is that okay, they won't get messed up/warped or anything right?
  12. Fuck man, I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't really describe how much animals can touch our hearts and become our friends. So I'll leave with two things, one is my condolences and my wish that things look up for you. Two is this:
  13. Just made mine today for shits and giggles.... and to post my records @ionlytakepicturesofmyrecords
  14. "But it's so cool and artsy and come on, who needs stupid records when I have my iPod!"- The guy who hung those
  15. If you live near anywhere that has radioactive waste, yes. I'd suggest getting a water filter for safe measure or something. Also to people who might doubt if it's real https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2013/04/15/2013-08666/updates-to-protective-action-guides-manual-protective-action-guides-pags-and-planning-guidance-for
