I have liked all of them...and I have been playing them since they were on the Nintendo console! Yeah...I am THAT old. The one though, that I completely hated was IX...having come off VIII and its graphics, IX felt like a step backwards. Graphics and story. But all-time favorite of forced to choose: A toss-up between X and VII...although I am really digging XII (even if I am only halfway).

I know the feeling. Most stores around here do the same as far as jacking up the prices. At the same store I mentioned, they had a copy of Planet of Ice clear w/ magenta for $25! I called the guy out on it and how he was gouging the prices. He ended up selling it to me $18 after we kept going back and forth.

Actually...if you go by the pressing info on Sgnlvinyl...for the Live 2 it's 200 on white and 800 on black. & Live 1 - (The Electric Human Project label) 700 on black And oh yeah...Robotic Empire posted on their future releases listed on their MySpace as the possible vinyl release of Live 4.

I go to Boston at least twice a year anyways to visit friends and try to coincide it with shows...it worked out perfect this time when the ISIS shows were announced.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This is the core of the passion of the collectors that I know and have met. I can attest to that...I mean...who would fly from Florida to Boston for the band's 10th anniversary shows?!?!?

I agree 100% on this. Collectors tend to be elitist assholes...but then there are the a'ight ones here at VC.

As long as there is a demand for the record, and the lable wants to keep pressing or rather, repressing the record, this will always happen. Part of me does get upset when a record that I searched for and spent some money to get, is repressed. But another part is OK with it because maybe I wouldn't have been able to get it due to excessive aftermarket prices and whatnot. Everyone here is making valid points about this issue. You can either get mad about it...or just move on and enjoy the music.
