  1. Still on the hunt, hoping one pops up for sale.
  2. Curve ball. I guess that would explain it, however that's something I would never picture at a Blink show. General floor seating, what gives? I protest.
  3. And crowd surf so you could maximize this experience. Hands everywhere. Trust me, the Blink boys would truly appreciate & support this behavior.
  4. I feel inclined to say there was either a crowd of zombies, modernized humans or maybe there was some good pot smoke floating through the vents. Blink might not be the wildest, but they're an energetic pop punk band that I know at least SOMEONE in that crowd wanted to move to. Jump, mosh, circle pit, crowd surf, some form of movement. I know someone did... I don't think they all hate the band, but I will call out the pussification of kids today. Whether it's too cool, too shy, too scared to stand out, whatever the case. Blink 1-80-fuckin-2 is on stage live in front of you. MOVE. They're lucky I wasn't there, I'd have been having a ball while everyone staring going "What is he doing, OMG look at that guy. I'm going to twitter this, "guy at Blink 182 makes attempt to interact with band and crowd and have fun." Maybe someone else would have joined in, you never know. Not to say a ticket of attendance obligates participation, surely it doesn't & the ol pit is not for everyone. But I know at least a fair portion of the attendees want to. When they're not on Ritalin anyways.
  5. Any word on what colors SRC, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. will be distributing? Black?
  6. How was the show??? If you attended... Curious how a full acoustic set gels with the crowd, with the electric encore.
  7. I would like to see the two live tracks available for download to put on the ol iPod, to listen to in a variety of places. In the car, headphones, wherever. Connect The Dots will be available many other places, off the CD, iTunes, etc.
  8. I'll vouch for this. They did a show with The Offspring in the middle of Wisconsin a month & a half ago I drove to from the Twin Cities, and they played probably my favorite set list I've ever heard live, and I've seen them probably between 20 & 30 times. I think the second song of the set was Twist, and straight into Chi after that. So fun. Sounded awesome, though I'm not one of those video taping queers at live shows so I don't have requested video. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/korn/2013/festival-grounds-cadott-wi-5bc6abec.html
  9. Thanks for the pictures, looks phenomenal! Both colored variants featuring [summertime] sunset colors. I dig it.
  10. Can you look up his address by any chance, through paypal or something? And/or phone #?
  11. I'd wager every penny of what little savings I have that if RATM & SOAD were releasing their 11th albums next month that a lot of their fans would be crying the blues about what they did on album #8 or the experimental album #10 or how commercial they got on #5 or whatever standard arguments there are. Do you think they'd have gone hard all 11 times & would carry every fan, including yourself, along the way?
  12. Any KoRn kids in here? Doesn't seem to be a popular genre on the board, but I figure it's worth posting. Looks like the only pre-orders are available through Amazon & iTunes. No fancy 25 bundle packages to choose from, just the album straight up. The CD has a deluxe version that includes a DVD and a couple bonus tracks. This band seems to take a lot of heat because they've been around 20 years now, and have never gone away, ever. I know it's a popular thing to say "Well I like old KoRn..." bla bla bla, and original supporters are off the bandwagon. These guys have taken no breaks, no hiatus, small line up changes here & there, but they've been releasing music consistently for 2 decades. Yet you take other popular bands from their era, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, Slipknot, etc., and people still go nuts for them. I think it's the simplicity of human brain, people want what they can't have, and when they've been spoiled for so long, they don't have that hunger that people get when they anticipate a big reunion. I use that same logic & idea for why I love KoRn so much. They're as true of rock stars as you'll ever find. No pussy break ups to make ups that put the band out of commission for periods of time, leaving their fans behind. They're out here putting it down 11 albums in 20 years later, and I couldn't be more excited about Paradigm Shift & the tour they're about to embark on. And if you've never seen KoRn live-you need to. From Amazon: "On 'Paradigm Shift', Korn chose not to repeat the dub step/rock fusion of their previous album The Path of Totality, but remained intent on keeping the sounds fresh and new. On the new album, they promise to mesh the classic dual guitar attack of James 'Munky' Shaffer and Brian 'Head' Welch (returning for the first time since the band's 2003 album Take A Look In The Mirror), with an all new approach to the integration of electronics."
  13. Agree. Something that goes with the album cover color schemes, usually how it goes, isn't it? I could be wrong, but it seems clear is a common Hot Topic exclusive variant, isn't it?
  14. My kinda guy, I know everyone says they are, but this guy here is truly living the dream. This one is the most gangster anyways. I can dig it. YEAH. Uh huh...you know what it is. NO! I still prefer you call me personally and check in with me next time. Time it out when I'm home (or at least in line for a ride at Disney!), well rested & ready to click click click! I gotta stop thinking me, me, me. And start thinking I, I, I. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A89hP6MzmP0
  15. There is a heat wave in the Midwest, I work outside & today had to be similar to what Hell will be like. The sun was literally painful. I love the weather...when I can enjoy it at a beach or water park. To be tortured with it while you're being a regular guy working loser isn't cool. All I wanted to do was GO...ended up being a 10 hour day. Now get home to the scraps of what's left. Don't you fuckers work or go to school? I too lobby for a more reasonable release time. How about midnight? Then the die hards can sacrifice sleep and the normals can sleep through it. Or 2am. I'm going to have some ice cream.
  16. I ordered this from the kiosk at the local Hot Topic, even the kiosk was having error messages. What gives? They ordered it for me over the phone from the store, then got my credit card expiration date wrong. Got it all worked out now though, if it's still a big mystery when I get it I'll let you guys know.
  17. I've been enjoying Late For Nothing, I think they did a good job on it. Can't wait to see them live soon.
  18. If you'd have posted this before I got mine last week, I would've grabbed you one. If they still have any next time I go, I can grab you one.
  19. I agree with this, unless you're making a day out of it. Sometimes I enjoy store hopping & being a mall rat for the environment & the ambiance. Grab lunch & a fountain soda & check out some broads. Buy some wax if you strike gold. But if you're strictly just looking to put your greedy little mitts on something, much time & $ is saved utilizing the internet.
  20. Someone else refuses to do this despite how much everyone has helped him! So that would be awesome. Love this band, but don't have the courage to start the collection you've got going. Props though! I wish I snagged that clear/red Dots album, freaking thing was in my cart and gone by the time I submitted the order. Not right that they don't reserve it for you when it's in your cart for that couple minute allotted time while you proceed with the checkout process... I'd have offered that up to ya. Good luck! I'll keep my eyes open for ya.
  21. Come on, don't let one monkey (or a venue full of them) ruin the show. What kind of shows you guys going to? Be the catalyst. Never be too shy to be the one to break open the pit. There are times no one will join in & you look like the asshole, sure. But never forget-you're awesome, they're the boring & the weak. At least you tried. Besides, the times that everyone jumps in with you & the fuse is lit to a fucking bomb trump those times no one is willing to have fun. Be the catalyst!! On your last sentence, join us at some of the shows the roof of the venue is being torn off, you may change your tune. I ordered another copy from 3rd party goHastings on Amazon, I'll let you guys know what color it is, though I'm assuming clear. Have there been any reports of black copies anywhere??
  22. Sorry to add a response that isn't of any help to the collection, but it sounds awesome & like it's coming along. I'm a huge ETID fan. I'll also be interested in pictures, or even a list of all the variants there are to each release? I've been curious, and tempted to start my own collection like this, but don't think I can quite do it. Maybe if I see what there all is (minus test presses, never had the interest for those that some collectors do), maybe I'll get the motivation to do it. I'll keep my eye out for what you have left on your list for ya. Good luck, man!
