  1. I was debating ordering the clear vinyl from hot topic, golds are sold out. I can't give an exact shipping quote, though I know it'll be cheaper than $32, if I end up ordering one, would you want me to order 2 and ship one to you at cost? I'd just ask you to pay for the vinyl, shipping, and the paypal fee. I just sent a vinyl with a CD in the package to Canada and it cost me $11.95, so I'll estimate roughly around there. Drop me a PM or reply.
  2. On their Canadian tour with All Time Low I drove up to Fargo, North Dakota on the one US stop, and they hinted at some kind of something special on deck for the 10 year anniversary of Ocean Avenue.... I was suspecting (and hoping for) a tour where they play the album front to back. This acoustic album must be at least some of what he was talking about. Maybe they have some other tricks up their sleeves on the celebration as well. So happy to see Yellowcard alive & kicking again, and at full throttle no less, with no signs of letting up. Such a great and fun band, both live & on album.
  3. Awesome, keep us in the loop. I did swoop up a gold copy on the pre-order, probably don't need to collect all variants, but always like to know what options are on the table. Killer album, too. Looking forward to seeing them on the Warped Tour.
  4. "On a Hot Topic exclusive color!" Anybody know which one?
  5. I've noticed that in Europe, but haven't seen this in the US... Not saying it doesn't happen, maybe something I haven't come across yet. I do know I've been in the CD buying game since probably 1993, and I've never in 20 years seen or bought a new CD that wasn't sealed. But again, I know in Europe they sell CD's that aren't sealed.
  6. This isn't over $, It's an argument because I'm relatively new to the hobby of vinyl, and I'm curious if I'm right or wrong for the sake of future transactions. I'm wondering where my expectations should be. That, and I like seeing pictures and those little video things people post... That modern day Ferris Beuller is pretty sweet. I apologize to the folk who are on here a ton more than me & get these repetitive threads... I learned before even making a screen name there is zero tolerance or patience around here. But at least I did my research, and did a google search on vinyl grading previous to posting, and all I saw was lists of grading that started with mint, the sites I found it did not clarify what "new" was.
  7. I'm just curious if I'm in the wrong on this transaction. I won't verify if I'm the buyer or seller as to avoid anything bias, I'll just explain the scenario. The record sold on gemm.com was advertised as "new" by the seller. The buyer bought it, and along with the purchase in the "notes to seller", asked the seller to verify if the new vinyl was still sealed, and if it had any promotional markings before shipment. Seller emails the buyer, stating this vinyl is not sealed. However, seller replies to the "do not reply" address, and buyer does not receive this email. With no other communication, seller ships vinyl. Buyer receives the vinyl, which was not sealed & had some light wear on the sleeve. Buyer emails seller, and asks for refund since the vinyl was not "new" as advertised, and note to seller went neglected. Seller offers to refund the price of the vinyl, and less than half of original shipping price, but not the cost of return shipping. Argument ensues as to what "new" means in an advertisement, seller claiming he advertised correctly, buyer claiming a misadvertised item. Seller's opinion is new does not = sealed, and vinyl was a DJ copy only played once to verify there were no skips. Buyer's opinion is in the US, new = sealed, as if you walked out of the retail store with it. Otherwise it's "like new" or "mint". As stated above, seller is willing to pay for cost of vinyl and $2 of the original $5 shipping charge for return, but not for return shipping costs. Buyer is requesting for full refund plus return shipping charges. What is everyone's opinion on this? And thanks to anyone taking the time to read this & leave an opinion.
  8. I have a blue copy of this if anyone wants to trade me for the red/orange version! PM me if interested.
  9. As stated in the title, I'm looking to trade my blue color New Found Glory Mania for your red/orange copy. This blue version is mint & unplayed, only opened & peaked inside to check it's color. Shrink & hype sticker still on the sleeve. If you are interested, reply or drop me a PM and we can work out details, thank ya!
  10. Did anybody else order from the Red Eye website? I ordered yesterday, and oddly, I never received an email confirmation, nor do I see any charges on my credit card. I can't think of buying anything online where even if you're not charged right away, you at least get an almost instant email confirmation... And I checked my junk folder. I emailed them, waiting to hear back, just wondering if anyone else put in an order & got a confirmation or something.

  12. Yes, I forget where, I think earlier in this thread, there is a post from the B9 guy saying there were a few RSD copies left, and if you wanted one of those instead of the pink, to request it in the comments section of your order.
  13. I got one from the redeye link, I'm wondering if this was a mistake if Resist Records will be selling them soon? Being as I had to pay extra shipping from Australia to US, I'm not sure where Resist is located & if shipping would be any cheaper or not when they put them up for sale. Oh well.
  14. What the hell did they stack on top of it in the truck, an elephant?
  15. Quiet on the set, quiet on the set! Roll sound...speed...roll camera...and... ACTION! Interesting about this artwork mystery. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't the original album cover, myself. Unless it was some kind of special edition, deluxe edition, etc, why would you want/make anything but the album cover?
  16. My dumb ass was clicking around too fast...didn't pick media mail, went first class. $6 to ship, $18 total.
  17. I just think it's worth noting that 1. I despise paypal and 2. I wouldn't trust my bank with my niece's piggy bank. (Wells Fargo, but that goes for any bank) Under any circumstance I have the option-I pay with CREDIT CARD. Even when paying with paypal, I pay with my Mastercard or Discover via paypal. Sure, they make you manually switch payment from bank account to CC on every single transaction, but it's worth it in cases something goes wrong. I bypass Paypal and go straight to the CC company to file the chargeback. I've been buying useless commodities online, on many different websites, since about 1999. Needless to say, with all the idiots out there, I've needed to file my share of chargebacks. I've had problems with banks & with paypal getting my money back, but in only 1 instance did my CC company NOT get my money back. And that was in an eBay auction some dicknose sold me a car audio amplifire that was damaged, but he had the stipulations "sold AS-IS" printed in his auction. I've bought many "as-is" car audio products, never had a problem, except with that one guy. He told them I broke it... I still have his address & plan on throwing a brick through some of his property if I ever drive through South Carolina, for the record.
  18. A fellow board member "knifeparty" shared this link with me where the Liquid Swords chess box is on sale, I figure I can spread the word as well: http://www.musicdirect.com/p-131441-gzagenius-liquid-swords-limited-edition-4lp-box-set-chess-set.aspx Good find, good price too!
