  1. I will buy every variant available for this... this is the album that truly got me into music.
  2. I called up there the other day to see if they got any in and the girl was like ummmm who is it? I said the band is called Mae and the album is called Destination Beautiful and she was like hmmmm.... never heard of it.
  3. here's an instagram video I did... on the front you can see the die cut, and the eyes take up the entire gate fold. The lyrics are printed on a folded sheet of paper that feels like leather, and the records feel like the nicest quality of records I've ever held in my life. The record sleeves have an inner plastic lining to keep the records nice and clean of dust bunnies! http://instagram.com/p/cLFRnLoQO7/
  4. I got my copy earlier this month from Amazon... and holy cow is this a gorgeous pressing!
  5. Agreed everyone pick up Jukebox... Such a solid album and a wonderfully done pressing!
  6. I got the paper cd sleeve too, and the stamp only left half of its mark... I was fairly disappointed but the overall look/feel of this pressing is pretty cheap, and I'd HIGHLY doubt they'd do much of anything for the second including changing the color (which I assume would cause it to cost more?)
  7. where did you find the yellow dashboard???
  8. My take on the new Relient K album, Collapsible Lung: There’s nothing wrong with a band wanting to make a pop album, none what so ever. When I heard CL was going to be more of a pop album I was excited… I mean Matt is a king of pop! Sure you could look at the music and say it sounds overproduced, but that’s not really a big deal. If you’re making a pop album that naturally comes with the territory. To me the problem with this album are the lyrics, something I never thought would be an issue with Matt. There’s almost no substance to anything, and sound like they’d fit in any horrible Top 40 song! If you’re going to do a pop album, do it with some integrity! Look at fun.’s Some Nights or Tegan and Sara’s Heartthrob… they’re albums that have fun pop music but lyrically run deep. …I’m not giving up on CL, but I am disappointed and can see why Ethan is gone and the Jo(h)ns want nothing to do with this mess.
  9. RIGHT?! It really is pretty bad. There's a few highlights but overall I sit and think WHAT IN THE HELL! I do think my favorite part is that it lists Ethan (and John and Jon for that matter) as being a part of the band. They should've made this something like The Birds and the Bee Sides, a longer EP that has lots of filler but a few gems
  10. I got my shipping info yesterday too... I guess we'll see how this plays out! ...but also mine says I got the cd option and the vinyl option. I know a cd comes with the vinyl, but here's what the email says: PRODUCTS SHIPPED ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.01. SKU...RELIEN-CD103 TITLE...Collapsible Lung CD OPTION...CD QUANTITY...1 PRICE..$10.00 TOTAL...$0.00 1.02. SKU...RELIEN-VINYL101 TITLE...Collapsible Lung Vinyl OPTION...Vinyl QUANTITY...1 PRICE..$15.00 TOTAL...$0.00 soooo it says cd $10 maybe they threw one in for good measure? maybe they realized they're gonna have a butt ton of these left over and they should clear some out when they can? or they just worded it goofy in the email.
  11. I will gladly pay $90 for a nice package... and Sam/HelloMerch usually have pretty nice packages so I'm sure they won't be skimpy! On another note, I'm really hoping the vinyl packaging will be like the cd, where each layer of dogs pulls down and the album liner notes are in there!
  12. holy shit 10 commandments?! why has no one said this before???
  13. I would expect this to be $25 at their shows in all honesty. I'm guessing they are selling it for $15 is their way of combating their merch stores asinine shipping costs... so I mean it's obviously worth a shot, but just a heads up that it might be easier to pre-order it
  14. I ordered both Kanye All Falls Down and Jay-Z Run This Town 12" singles. They were backordered and figured for $3 and $4 I'd give them a shot... well they shipped. Oh well... I'm perfectly content with this purchase!
  15. I'd give it a 10 for the production and for trying something different... it works, but it doesn't touch MBDTF, which is a masterpiece. The lyrics and overall rating for Yeezus I'd say falls into 6-7ish? I love the album, but just doesn't touch his past work, which is ok. He threw himself out there and did something different. A++++++ for effort! In Yeezus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
  16. listen to her album Speak Now... there's so much lyrical depth. Yes, most are about love but the way she describes things and can translate it is incredible! Listen to Enchanted, Haunted, and Back to December and you will see how great her music is! Once she gets away from her "young boy-crazy blonde" stereotype people will realize she can craft a beautiful song. Red is very much a fun sounding pop album, but even if you listen to some of those songs they are beautifully crafted!
  17. this 100% unless it's Nickelback... then you're getting judged.
  18. apparently, the amazon/iTunes version is different... someone posted this in the reviews:
