  1. shit. it's more so Equal Vision being assholes and pressing 2 variants for just On Letting Go. they could have done 1,000 of one color so all the fanboys didn't need to hoard 2 copies. i love Circa and i have the picture discs and 1 copy of the regular pressings. i would have just gotten the dark blue had i not slept on the preorder instead of the lighter blue/black. OLG sure seems to be the harder of the 2 to get, even though i always see the dark blue/black for sale...and for ridiculous prices.
  2. i can do the fun for Coheed SSTB on green. i still need a copy of that record.
  3. you're*. it's been out of print since almost instantly after the LP went up for sale on merchnow.com. email Equal Vision and demand a repress since the demand is never going to go away. otherwise, you will NOT find this record at regular store prices because Equal Vision was the only retailer of the pressing.
  4. ordered! hopefully the non-secure credit card entry form doesn't result in me getting another credit card closed for fraudulent activity. that page is never secure. last time i got a receipt, but my order didn't go through. is that a Chrome thing?
  5. shit, i haven't opened it yet. i have 2 copies, one for my friend and one for myself, and i'm debating just unloading mine even though i really would like to keep it but the price is crazy. we'll see what happens, maybe someone else can answer this for you for the time being.
  6. hey, more power to them. i'm all for ALL Mclusky records getting the vinyl treatment, even if it's only on RSD.
  7. did he sell it? that'd be pretty awesome. good looking out.
  8. i think it's an issue of wear in the corner of the LP it will sit on. i tend to take them out. like my Bis LP + 7". i know my Mr. Bungle "Disco Volante" still has the 7" in the jacket. i hate the idea of a smaller record sliding in the jacket and rubbing against the record anytime it's moved.
  9. i haven't had a chance to play mine yet, but it's from Pirates Press. i don't know if anyone heard the swamp green/clear mix repress of Isis "Oceanic" but my copy was the same way. i think this is a red/clear mix. even my clear repress of Oceanic had the crackle, such a bummer. hell, my black copy of The American Dollar had that on side one. lots of Pirates Press records in general have had this issue that i've noticed.
  10. you are very welcome, Gary. i'm glad i could track down an extra for you. he said he will get it mailed out tomorrow.
  11. prices are always my beef, and not quite finding everything. and obviously Hydra Head gouging, christ. $20+ for a single LP of an EP, kinda sad but after getting the Clouds 4 song 12" last year for $18, i shouldn't complain. i almost wanted the Pelican repress until i saw it was over $30. insane. RSD really is just an excuse to release limited shit super marked up and the major labels get their pockets lined because the CD industry is so dead. i'm glad indie labels are participating, even if their prices are somewhat shitty at times. Death Grips LP was SO overpriced, i'm not even sure i want to keep my copy at this point. best parts are Destroyer's Rubies, the Freakwater album getting the vinyl treatment, and the Mclusky repress! i can't wait to throw those on. i'm really hoping someday an Emiliana Torrini "Fisherman's Woman" repress is coming out. i would loveeee if Catherine Irwin's "Cut Yourself A Switch" would get the vinyl treatment.
  12. somebody is mad in this thread. thanks for the smites. keep them coming. :-*
  13. you should however have gotten an email from ME saying yours is in the mail
  14. i thought the listing for "Neon Piss" was what you jokingly called the Neon Trees heart-shaped record. haha.
  15. damn, and i just mailed the one to convectuoso without giving him the code because it didn't work anyway. oh well. IN THE MAIL, dude.
  16. I really wish the band was the same at least, they're on tour with American Head Charge who are local and have had a history of drug problems. I just know my days of seeing (hed) are so long gone. the last time I felt like an idiot even being there. I've since turned down free tickets and they haven't played with anyone worthwhile in years. KMK crowd? no thanks!
  17. eww One Minute Silence. the 2nd album forever ruined them for me. I'd love pressings of S/T and Broke from (hed). they got pretty awful after that. didn't know Serpent Boy was on vinyl. I have a CDS of it. good old SoCal scene used to be booming. ps. BRAAAAINNN SPILLLLEERRR!
  18. great price on Tomahawk if anyone is looking. unfortunately nothing I need.
  19. alright. changing my plan. i'm only looking for RSD trades because i'm still missing some things i really want. RSD haves: Arcade Fire 12" Animal Collective LP Shabazz Palaces 12" Dinosaur Jr. LP fun. 10" White Stripes 7" Karen Elson 7" Miles Davis - Forever Miles LP Anberlin - Blueprints For The Black Market LP (possibly the other LP at some point too, waiting to hear back from a potential buyer) The Horrible Crowes 7" Coldplay 7" The Receiving End Of Sirens 7" Starfucker demos LP Mclusky Do Dallas LP Rosie Thomas/Sufjan Stevens 7" Joey Ramone 7" (maybe, still waiting to hear back from someone i got it for) RSD wants: Ryan Adams 7" Minus The Bear 7" Sigur Ros 2xLP (for Jared) The Flaming Lips & Heady Fwends 2x Bonnie Prince Billy "Hummingbird" 10" no cash offers please, i really want to evenly trade as much as possible before that point. i listed all my prices on my "bought" post, so let's try to keep things in the same price range. fair trades, or don't bother. not looking to gouge or get gouged. and if anyone in the UK wants to trade, i'm willing for these: Refused - Rather Be Dead 12" Refused - The New Noise Theology 12" Future Of The Left - At Magnetic West 7"
  20. my 3 records showed up from Antithetic the other day. unfortunately they were some thick ass records and the mailer was kinda flimsy and overstuffed so the corners of the jackets got pretty crushed up. oh well, I'm sure the records are still in good shape. the packaging looks to be very well done from a still sealed perspective.
  21. God bless them. Thanks for posting this. well, look at Treehouse selling these off for a decent price. they had so damn many! but I think they were only charging $39.99 in the store. still below list, probably covers the terrible seller fees.
