Yea I saw that. Pretty cool collectible and its on sale. Not sure I'd personally listen to that much. Not sure why they'd press that over the score though.

Alright so why the hell hasn't the Wolfenstein: The New Order OST been pressed on vinyl yet. After picking up the game on the steam sale Im listening to the soundtrack on Spotifiy right now. This is incredible. It's like a Ambient black metal, piano, Spanish acoustic and electronic infused masterpiece with a bit of Deafheaven mixed in.

New song! What a bummer. I guess I'm going to have to stalk discogs and eBay. What I really dont understand is why that pressing will be released on January 26th (according to the page) but the standard US pressing wont ship from Killer Merch until April. Was there really not enough lead time for them to start pressing preorders?

Speaking about seam splits shout out to Tripple Crown for having the best customer service I've ever encountered. Forgot to post but when I ordered my seafoam it showed up with splits. When I asked to get replacement inserts they sent over an entirely new black copy to keep. Incredibly friendly and sent some stickers in with the black.

Im no expert and I have more knowledge in audio equipment outside mic's and recording voice. That mic and grab a cheap audio interface is a good route. Audio interfaces are quite bad in the cheaper ranges but they work well. Scarlett 2i4 is a decent one. Alternatively if you have a decent sound card you can always go with this mic which is fairly good for its price. Just make sure you get a pop filter whatever you do. USB is fine if you know what youre doing. Your environment also plays a huge part on your output sound so keep that in mind. Proper acoustic treatment goes a long way.

Gotchya. Yep you're right about that. I edited the main post to be a little more easier on the wording. Does when most companies look at flipping sales histories and increase in demand of certain records. But like I put in the post the list only has the SRP changes. Distro cost column was removed. Obviously retailers can (sometimes) adjust prices on certain things down to a certain value under a SRP.

Of course prices get raised all the time. It's a huge shark tank and its the basics of business. Citation needed? Even if its not finalized not sure why these prices would be sent out 3 1/2 weeks before the announced changes and be a rough draft list. That would be a scam right? Half truth? Not seeing that. Nor trying to rile anyone up. A mere warning for interested parties and shop owners not aware.

Some interesting info: Distros are sending emails out right now stating that Universal will officially be raising prices on 600+ records starting 1/9/2015. No reason is given. You might want to take a look at the attached list below to see the increases. The list may change in content or pricing from now until that January date. The "Killer Merch Exclusive" mark on the item picture really is misleading. It could be any shade of white and be a new pressing from them. Not sure why it doesnt just say "200 left of the first press". It is the cheapest you'll find it anywhere though. Good for people that have yet to grab it.

Just emailed them. Hang tight. Im under the impression that its new because it says opaque and is cheaper. The original pressing was just white. We'll find out here soon though. Edit: Well it is leftovers. Thats really stupid. Not sure why that isnt explicitly stated.

Looks like it. Just an opaque white/limited variant. Same packaging and all. Still includes a download card. IIRC this version is cheaper though. Edit: Yea this one is cheaper.

Such a good soundtrack. Ordered. Music Direct page says they have colored vinyl though. Anyone know if this is just a typo or broad generalization?

I asked my IMAX that does 70mm when I went and they said supposedly December 17th. Not sure if thats all theaters or just IMAX.

TDKR had so much going against it for Nolan but all things set aside this movie is leagues better. Im a huge Nolan/Hans fan and thought both the movie and score were on par. The movie takes multiple viewings to really get it. I've seen it three times and read The Science of Interstellar book and Im still assessing it. That book really helps you go deeper into what you're watching; highly recommend reading it. Viewing it once and making a decision is not fair with how many layers there are to the movie.
