If you spent Münster a visit you should totally check out Green Hell and in Freiburg you shouldn't miss Flight13! Well sometimes bands decide to jump onto bigger labels because they hope to reach a bigger audience and with all the cool bands out there it sometimes seems hard to be recognized. Although I don't think this way I can imagine that this is a reason. I feel the same way like you but I hope the best.

similar in Germany..I graduated in 2011 and most of the people did just listen to the shit that gets blasted in all the generic clubs aka chart music. We have a stronger "dark scene" here in Germany, so you will always find at least a handful of people who listen to Gothic and Metal but in fact most of these just look like they listen to it but are actually blasting Slipknot or similar stuff.. I am now at University and of course most of the generic club people stayed the same but there are a lot more "alternative" people who actually listen to stuff that I listen to as well.

Like this thread! I was too young when Emo was at its peak but I'm glad that it is coming back like it does. When genres make a comeback they often change a lot. Just think about anything that was labeled Emo between 2000-2006... The "new" Emo bands are really keeping it traditional at least partially and I think that's a good thing. Sad thing is that this genre now attracts hipsters and other fashion centered groups that will annoy the fuck out of most of the "real" fans

I'm also afraid that this wasn't a move for their best..I liked the split and yes, I like Daisyhead very much but I'd also like that they keep the sound and feeling of their first full length. Plus: the preorder will run through Merchnow and I hate this..higher shipping prices for international buyers + I already received two scratched records from them.

I can't wait for this record. I already had some decent records this year and some were much anticipated but this one blows them all. There is still a lot to come but I'm pretty sure this will be in my Top 5 of 2014! Testpressing auctions are always cool. I will bid but I guess there will be a point where I have to quit bidding as those always climb high numbers..
