yeah makes sense. i guess i was also wondering what the consensus is on what exactly has been produced (if anything). i can't recall what the last update told us. anyone? Yeah, I gotcha. I personally liked rj. had great dealings and convos with him and he was always honest. But considering he lied about every single aspect of this release I wouldn't hold anything he says very high at all.

helpful! If you actually believe any part of it is actually done. Its pretty easy to claim a random test press is of any album without playing it. and It's even easier to have an insert mock up. or 1 printed picture

I haven't had a chance to talk with him about it yet but they were significantly older (60s) than most people in line that early, they had printed out lists of all the releases they kept flipping through... I asked Tom (another employee) and he said "Come on, man, it was obvious!" If he gives me any more specifics that tipped him off tomorrow then I'll post about it again. He came out after doing it and made an announcement that ebayers would not be tolerated. Thats ridiculous. I was like number 5 in line last year and the first few dudes were in their 40s and 50s to get the phish records as well as third man releases. having a list just makes you prepared and profiling is wrong...

First one was really cool, not really eye opening music wise for me at least but definitely good to hear songs i haven't listened to in a bit. Looking forward to more of these.

As someone who grew up on Tupac (Mom had Jesus, MLK Jr. and Tupac in the living room since I was 7 or so), I was beyond words and excitement to see that hologram. Ridiculously cool for me! Really wanted to see the Nate Dogg one too

definitely, I've been to a few stores on RSD and I love how park ave runs it. Granted, it takes forever, but its organized and theres TONS of free crap! I mean, last year I walked out with a free shirt, coffee cup, stickers, postcards, cd's, a few LP's and a heap of 7"s and a coupon book for park ave as well. Not to mention cupcakes and stuff too. I think the free stuff was given according to how much you spent but it was nice stuff

Sometimes Its just not that simple. Sometimes labels dont want to bother with something like this. Some bands/labels don't like to relive the past. Some labels have plans to do it themselves. Sometimes the ownership can be a little tricky. "Insert even more excuses here" I love how all Brent's order threads turn into giant T&N wantlist. that said, I'd love ACB on vinyl. Will pick up the repress of this. Im happy to get what I get t&n wise.

Talked to my friend who just got back from mexico for a STC thing. He said he'd give me and my girlfriend a tour of the Save the Chimps facilities. Im pretty excited. I feel bad that I've never really asked where hes worked. We both do work with underprivileged families and kids mainly but we're stoked to see what goes on there, thanks for mentioning it because I honestly would have never known it was in ft pierce. and......
