Thanks for the heads up! Grabbed a copy of Dead Roots Stirring on splatter. I wish I knew the pressing amounts (to my knowledge they never even got released for Reflections) so I could order the most limited haha. But even though the colors don’t really match the album, I can never resist splatter vinyl haha

I’ve listened a few times on Spotify while I wait for my red copy to arrive. Definitely a good album, though it may be slightly different than I was expecting. One of the most surprising things for me was the shift in lyrical change (at least from my interpretations) from more personal catharsis to some pretty modern commentary on politics (trigger for example, assuming that song is meant to be taken at face value). Cannaibals is fucking great, so is the title track. I’m interested to see how I feel after a few more listens in comparison to the rest of their discography, overall I’m impressed.

Is that even jake at the beginning? Almost sounds like john from darkest hour lol. Song rules, jealous of you guy guys getting the album before Friday, can’t wait

Nope, nor have I received any email. It also appears there is a pink variant (saw it on instagram), and word of a hot topic variant? So everyone but the original pre orders are getting their copies but we have to wait lol. I know it happens, kind of annoying though

The only things I've ever purchased for ETR were a couple of the dream theater represses. At the time they were pretty hard to find before MOV started repressing them all and I had no idea the label was so shady. That being said, I don't recall them sounding terrible. Nothing incredible, but I've heard worse sounding pressings

Grabbed the /300 merge yesterday, they sure pressed a bunch of cool looking variants for this one. Interested to see how they turn out, and pics of the box set.

Thanks for the info, I guess it was kind of a waste to run out and grab Brave New World on RSD then haha (was actually really easy to find). Oh well, I was super pumped to finally own it, as much as I love older Maiden records, Brave New World is so amazing

It was from Amazon UK, not a third party seller. I would have had no problem with one of those frustration free mailers, I haven't had an issue with those yet. This was just some other kind of basic package that couldn't handle all that transit time I guess. Nothing was better than when my brother had a record mailed to him with just a shipping label stuck to the record itself....lol

I already did, so as long as they let me keep me it without charging me I'll go ahead and pass it along. I've already got a PM so I'll consider this done at this point.

I'm glad you guys have positive things to say about how they sound, I'll probably pick up a few at some point when I find them on sale. Does anyone here have the RSD pressing of Brave New World and is able to mention if there is any difference between that version and this most recent repress?
