Can't wait for the new LP. I saw them back in July at the Paradise and before the show started there was definitely unreleased material playing. It was super glitchy/abrasive like stuff on NOTM but it also had the blown out distortion and colorfulness of Jenny Death. Really hope that stuff is on the new album. Anybody else hear that stuff playing?

In case anyone is trying to purchase it in a Bullmoose/Newbury Comics today it looks like its hard to find. Bullmoose told me they wont get it in til the 23rd the earliest and possibly even the 30th. Newbury Comics had only a couple throughout the chain. Not sure why, but the website seems like the best bet to get it fast.

Can't wait for mine to get in. Been looking for a cool press of this for a bit now. Missed out on that last Castle Face press.

Fantastic album. I think this is Deerhunter's most focused and realized record and surprisingly poppy compared to their other records. I'm really enjoying the synths throughout. I'm hoping the sleeve is a die cut and it's a bummer theres no deluxe/limited variant of the release. Also no tape?

Found a post on the cassette store day website regarding the Beach Music release...looks like its yellow and limited to 200

Certainly on par with all of his previous releases. This guy is just a straight up song factory. For me DSU might still be his best overall effort, however Beach Music contains more stand outs, not only on the album, but his entire discography. Buy this album in any format
