I'd recommend getting the Rega performance pack. Dunno how much difference the new belt makes, but the difference in the factory standard needle & the Bias 2 needle is night and day. Only problem is changing the needle is an almighty pain in the ass.

This is a random question, but kinda important... The Expedit from Ikea, can records still be stored in it when they have a plastic dust cover? Adds like 2mm to the top. Also, are the wide enough to hold a Rega turntable on top? Music room is becoming crowded and I think the Expedit (or whatever they're gonna call the new version) may be the answer.

Listening to Tin Cans now... Sweet Jesus. SRC really done an amazing job on both these albums, the quality between these and the CDs I've played to death is stunning. Quick question regarding Tin Cans... I bought mine in a local store here in Switzerland. First record is almost a purple/red splatter job and the second record is yellow/mustard. Anyone know the pressing details on this variant?

The white copy I have is probably the worst sounding vinyl I own, along with the Mellon Collie box set. Awful cut.
