The oldest record I own is John Berry - 007 Goldfinger OST from 1964. I have some old records, mostly classic rock and old movie soundtracks. Probably 1/3 of my collection are older than 1990.

Definitely gonna pick these up. There are some solid songs on each album that I still really enjoy, regardless the nostalgia factor. .. it still has to be said that 8th grade me is sooo stoked right now though.

2008 I own literally none from that year. Looking at the releases though I'd really only be interested in City & Colour (Bring Me Your Love) and Fleet Foxes. I mean, I like Katy Perry just fine but I feel no need to get One of the Boys on vinyl..

Finally kinda on top of the preorder curve. Super excited for this one.

Nope, I don't think so. I was legitimately curious. I don't think white vinyl is particularly creative (not using the medium to its fullest potential) but for this album I think it might work well.

I don't particularly care one way or the other what color it is, but what's wrong with white? Looks like it will go with the album art alright

Aw I don't think he's so bad, just uneducated on the subject of vinyl records. I love his enthusiasm (but we all know people on here can't handle much of that ) He was literally so surprised and honestly its a little endearing because he's so innocent. He's not trying to educate people like he's an expert he's just excited and wanted to share. Who cares?

Missed out on the first press but happily ordered the second! I'm excited for these two things in particular: Kevin Devine's cover of Good Man and also "Half of the extra special variant will be randomly inserted into orders". I love the concept of unreleased material and donating proceeds to a good cause. A+ on the ordering process and web layout as well. Can't wait to get this!

(Late to the party because I've been working 70 hours a week...) but... I finally got my Banquet order! Red #475. Its pretty but is all this hype really worth it? ;o I think I liked the chase the best. Anyhow, I ended up with a couple extra black copies trying to get this in red (some with seam splits, stickers) that I'll sell if someone's interested. PM me if you are.
