  1. I love Blood Music releases, but right now, I still have four records from him that I've paid for and haven't received. By the time these EPs go online, it'll be SIX.
  2. Saw this on Twitter: Perturbator "Nocturne City" 45-RPM Pale Green Stars LP This configuration: 75 COPIES FOR USA/CANADA 125 COPIES FOR REST OF THE WORLD PRE-ORDER: October 28th, 2015 at 5PM Finnish time. RELEASE: December 28th, 2015. Specs: * First-time vinyl pressing for the brilliant second EP by the reigning master of retrosynth. * 180-gram+ Opaque Pale Green Stars LP, cut at 45-RPM for optimum fidelity. * Mastered specifically for vinyl from the original mixes. * Includes the bonus track "Vengeance (The Return of the Night Driving Avenger)." * 350gsm heavyweight board single-pocket jacket with fluorescent, neon green printing on the reverse cover [does not show up on screen, but it will melt your eyeballs in reality], as well as neon green flood on the inside of the jacket. * Black inner sleeves. * Amazing music. Also, anyone know when we were supposed to be receiving the last two Pert releases and Gost?
  3. This is nothing to do with records, but I think some of you are probably going to wanna know about this: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/10/19/fallout-4-limited-edition-xbox-one-controller-revealed
  4. Yup - what this guy said. Also, for the record - "hype" is not a valid reason to overcharge for a record.
  5. I get that, and I would too. But the two things combined are leading me to consider skipping this release, which is disappointing, because I'm both a massive Fallout fan and a collector of VG music on vinyl.
  6. Like I said before, the Last of Us record barely justified it's price because it was a 4LP set with custom Olly Moss art. SpaceLab ALWAYS phone in the design of their records, using the same old key-art wherever possible. This is not worth $85.
  7. You're not alone. There are some great themes across all three movies, but I think the full score from all three is more than I'll ever need. I was thinking about this just now though - if Mondo released a similar boxset thing for the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit Trilogy, I would totally drop trou and pay whatever they were asking.
  8. My god, that price. Not sure what I'll do here, as I know I'll never spin an entire 6 disk set. Would have preferred a 2 disk release with the best tracks of all three movies personally.
  9. Man, weird that Sony are working with Mondo AND iam8bit on different releases. Maybe I should contact them about doing vib ribbon.
  10. The 70 ish price for the Last of Us Boxset was SOMEWHAT justifiable because it was 4 discs and contained especially commissioned art by Olly Moss, not a screenshot from the game. I'm a HUGE Fallout fan, but if this goes anywhere near the price of TLoU, I'm out.
  11. It's a shame that the art is just a screenshot from the game, and a double shame that there aren't any radio tracks in there. But if it's the right price, I'll probably bite.
  12. Not sure if I want this or not. £25 could get me a record I actually want every month. BUT. Limited. Hnnng
  13. Ben, you fucking wein. You don't deserve an iota of anyone's goddamned respect here.
  14. Oh yeah, I completely get you. I'm in the UK as well - checked earlier and FTL came to $62 (£40) with postage, so it's MUCH more expensive. But I think most of the guys and girls here are state-side, so I was just wondering why Shinobi was a better value proposition for them.
  15. I'm interested in the fact that FTL (a two-disc release) has been a little negatively-recieved in here for its price, but Shinobi (a single-disc release) hasn't, despite only being $5 cheaper. Is there any specific reason for this? Is $30 the upper limit psychologically? I'm just curious really. As someone with some very relevant plans of my own, it'd be good to know.
  16. Only 85 copies of Sword & Sworcery left. I don't think it's getting a repress either. Definitely don't sleep on this, the soundtrack is so dope. I also have some exciting news of my own on the subject of (LEGIT) VG on vinyl which I will share soon. Really stoked to tell y'all. One person in this thread in particular is going to be pretty pleased I think. EDIT: Just checked. TWO PEOPLE.
  17. Probably not much interest in this because it's not the best one but: Final Fantasy VIII (8) pic disk just went up on Square Enix's JP store. Dunno when it'll be up on their other sites, but soon presumably.
  18. Yeah, I just couldn't stomach paying more for the shipping than the tape. If Mondo do end up putting it on vinyl, I guess I'll jump on then.
  19. Who was after Parappa? One on ebay here. I was really tempted, but I can't spare the 75 bucks right now.
