  1. Can confirm this. Chatted with Phil for a bit about vinyl a month or so ago and it looks like he is doing it all himself. Didn't mention it here before because I didn't want to ruin his announcement, but I guess it's too late now.
  2. Scratch that, all of those records just arrived today (except for the EPs) Looks like a whole bunch were sent without BM changing the status to "shipped".
  3. The only thing I've received shipping notification for is I am the Night on Red/Blue (which I haven't received yet) Still waiting for: Terror 404 on GITD Terror 404 on Red/Blue Gost on Blue Ice and all the EPs
  4. That Batman set looks incredible. If international shipping doesn't break the bank, I'm totally in.
  5. That isn't really the case - in most cases the rights to the music stay with the game publisher - they may have been licensed out to various labels for CD pressings in the past, but the rights don't sit with the label. I'm not sure what the case was with Earthbound - wasn't it a vinyl pressing of a CD that wasn't quite the games soundtrack or something? I don't want to be Debbie downer - I want a MGS pressing as much as the next person, but speaking as someone who has worked in this area at a video game publisher and as someone who now works with them on merchandise among other things, it's not so simple. Landing the rights to publish both Square Enix and Konami properties on vinyl would be a HUGE get. I HOPE I'm proven wrong though
  6. This. Square Enix are releasing vinyl themselves - it'd be a bit weird to hand over the KH rights to some new operation. If these records happen at all, my money is on them being boots.
  7. I don't want to sound like a cynic, but I'll believe it when I see it.
  8. My point is just that a product's value shouldn't be linked to how much it costs to ship. The Uncharted set costs $15 to ship because it likely costs $15 to ship. Bethesda can probably charge a lot less for shipping because their operation is a hell of a lot bigger. Either way, they're still overcharging for that Fallout set IMO.
  9. Maybe for you. Fallout 3 was $118 shipped for me. Uncharted would cost me $71 shipped. Nearly $50 less.
  10. 55 dollars. Now that's how you price a 3LP set. SPACELAB/BETHESDA LOOKING AT YOU
  11. Yeah I remember that too - though I tried to find where he said that recently and I think it's been deleted.
  12. I'm afraid we can't talk about it here, but I'll send you a PM.
  13. POKEMON RECORDS? WHAT POKEMON RECORDS? (iirc the plant only pressed 10 instead of like 100, so they had to go back into production which I would guess meant going to the back of that particular plant's to-do list.)
  14. I actually have no idea. It's fewer than the number of The Last of Us boxsets that Mondo pressed I think.
  15. Annoyingly it looks like it's going to require an adapter to play it too.
  16. Put it this way - the Back to the Future record Ben was flipping for $500 could have been bought at mondocon by someone who actually wanted it for a reasonable price. Instead, someone who doesn't appreciate or want it (Ben) is making $450ish just by having it in his possession before anyone else could get to it.
  17. Fuckers dropped it early. I was going to ez-pass on this because of the BTTF box set, but I missed out on that so grabbed this. Moaning about a SL9 release and then buying it anyway. I'm definitely part of the problem. EDIT: $120 shipped to the UK, if anyone was wondering.
  18. You guys need to stop carting Mondo releases to check stock - that's what's causing the sold-out notifications. Not sure why Mondo don't just restrict the number you can cart at once.
  19. I noticed that the Destiny soundtrack is now on Spotify. I'd kill for a vinyl release.
