The Wretchedness Inside was originally one of Heafy's solo songs. Looks like they're gonna rerecord it for this record. Here's a link to it:

Question- have those who ordered the standard variant from PMT gotten the "relevant media" on their invoice?
No

I managed to grab tickets to the Chicago date yesterday during the presale and am stoked to hear some of these new songs live (specifically Same Logic/Teeth)

"Debut album from Saginaw, MI / Chicago, IL's The Apology Tour. Tracked, mixed and mastered by the band (Nick Diener and Mark Michalik) with artwork/layout by bassist, Michelle Lukezic.
(Limited to 200 copies) " -
I sent Buckethead Pikes an email regarding the shipment of the records and this is what they sent back:
"We just received the vinyl for both albums from the pressing plant today. As a result, we are behind schedule getting all the vinyl orders sent out. We hope to have all Crime Slunk Scene and Elephant Man orders shipped out by next week. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will send you tracking info once it ships.

Not a huge fan of timed releases like this. Curious why this business model is being employed. Is it to try and capture the obsessives and collectors into dropping cash before fulling forming an opinion on if they need this in their collection? Is it to limit overstock? or is it just to reward those who are on the ball?
Really don't get this angle versus the XXXX number of variants in the wild, or basing the initial run on the first few days of sales and just throwing up a 'Sold Out' when the extra copies sell out.
That said, on my first run through, will do a couple more before making a decision but the timed piece is skewing my opinion and I'm not a fan...
Tyler said on twitter that the vinyl release is made to order. So, I think that's why. He also said he was interested in doing a small run of these which explains the Thursday night cutoff.

This record is growing on me every day and I think I like it more than Wolf. The production and his flow is great on every track. Not to mention, it's catchy as hell

The vinyl sale ends tomorrow night (7/27) so don't wait!

Yeah I'd agree this is his best, but I'm a huge fan of all his projects, hopefully we'll see Cherry Bomb come to vinyl also, but I doubt it.
Back in March of 2016 he tweeted saying the Cherry Bomb vinyl is coming. Hopefully we see Cherry Bomb at the same time or shortly after Flower Boy

I'm looking for James Iha's debut solo record Let It Come Down. If anyone has a copy they'd be willing to part with, please DM me.
Thank you,

also, Cherry Bomb by Tyler the Creator should have an official press already
Right?! He tweeted back in March of 2016 that it would be released later that year and here we are in July of 2017 and still no Cherry Bomb vinyl and a new album coming out in less than two weeks
-
Can we start posting all Buckethead related releases in here? I don't think it's necessary to have a new thread everytime he releases a record
-
I am stoked to hear the new versions of Redeem Team and Siege Engine! With six records on the way, and hopefully more to follow, this fall is going to be amazing. I expect Pepper's Ghost and Decoding The Tomb Of Bansheebot to follow soon.

I'm hopeful there are a few more songs to follow, only 11 feels like there's 2 more out there for bonus releases.
The Best Buy edition has two bonus tracks on there

This must've been the track Blink didn't want to use.

Buckethead Pikes customer service emailed me back saying they have lowered shipping costs on signed and standard editions and are willing to refund all previous shipping costs on those two options. Looks like it's $5 shipping now.

Surprised this isn't a 2xLP. Can't imagine it'll sound that great if 55 minutes is crammed onto a single LP
