Got the mofi #9 about a week ago based on your suggestions. It works great, but im wondering if the brush it comes with could rip the needle off? Or am I just worrying about nothing? Seems kinda rough

they are definitely doing a wildflowers rerelease cd the end of this year with bonus tracks, but the vinyl has yet to be confirmed. it would be nice to have a repress with these bonus tracks on 3 lp double gatefold, but if nothing pans out im happy with my OG press.

A few months ago I made shelving capable of holding around 2200 records. Came out nice. Used 3/4 oak veneer plywood. No tips just take your time and make sure your measurement is precise or your cubicles will look uneven

What solution do you suggest for stylus cleaning?

Also it's a nude elliptical stylus if it makes a difference

it is pfan-stat. i know that this is designed for use on the record and not stylus but its all i have laying around. is this bad to use? first time ive used it on stylus

I use a felt brush. Finally got the gunk off. Put some cleaner on my stylus brush did that a few times then ME a few times. Now I can quit pullwmy hair out.

Everything is set up correctly. I mostly play new vinyl. I clean all vinyl before I play and clean needle with a brush after every side

Not that old probably only around 200 or so hours of use. Should be good for 700 to 800 more. Just dirty as fuck even after regular cleaning

I discovered today that my needle has excessive build up. Clean with a brush regularly and used magic eraser today. It is still very gunked up looking. Any suggestions?
