Curious abou the same question, not to find used gear on here. Just anyone who has experience with these upgrades and what is most important/best value. I am leaning towards acrylic platter as my static issue drives me crazy..... Thoughts?

Question for anyone to chime in, and I understand the answer is "listen to both and use what sounds best", however I am looking for someone that might have experience with similar equipment. I already own a Musical Fidelity V90 LPS phono stage that I had been using to let me use my Marantz Slimline 1402 receiver with. I purchased a used Rotel RA2030 on a whim for a good price. Is there any advantage to using my Musical Fidelity Phono into the AUX of the Rotel, or will the internal Phono in the Rotel sound the same or better? side topic too, I inherited an extensive collection of classic vinyl that was well loved and well played and partied through the 60's and 70's, that being said what is the best way to wash, restore the collection at home? thanks everyone

Any updates from anyone who's taken order of a u-turn yet? I am supposed to recieve mine in march, with an upgraded acrylic platter, grado blue cartridge. With what I've read about their tone arm and the results of their testing, this table should theoretically be a better performer at a better price than either RP1 or Carbon? Uni pivot tone arm Acrylic platter Grado blue cart All for about $150 less. Thoughts on this?

Thanks for the feedback. Made on offer on that Rotel, I am going to wait and see how the u-turn turns out and will report to everyone. If it sucks I will sell and pick up the carbon.

I have: a pair of Monitor Audio Silver Rx2's (open box, paid $550) Musical Fidelity V90 LPS Phono preamp (open box, paid $199) I am waiting on a u-turn orbit plus with acrylic platter and grado blue cart I want to upgrade to a true integrated amp (currently using my marantz slimline reciever and know this is not ideal). I am considering the NAD316BEE Thoughts on the U-turn? Thoughts on the NAD316BEE? If I'm all in for Monitor Audio silver Rx2's. 550 Musical Fidelity v90lps. 200 U-turn plus with grado blue 360 NAD 316BEE 380 TOTAL. $1,490. USD Could I do any better with anything else in the under $1,500 range????
