I was really salty that they ran out of the Solomon LP in Milwaukee. I got Praparat for $45 instead. It's the RSD Japan repress.

The colored version is "special" and limited. Supply and demand, yo.

Just got back from the show in Milwaukee. Holy hell, was that a thing! Merch duder said they ran out of the "The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked" LP, which kinda sucked. Apparently they're supposed to be getting more for tomorrow's show and the remainders will go on sale on Taiga's site once the tour is over. I was able to snag a copy of the Praparat repress though. It was $45, but I figured I should snag it when I had a chance. But if you have a chance, see Boris live. It was unlike any other concert I've ever been to.

Any recommendations in particular?

Eh, the characters to me just come off as Bearded Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, Futurama 80's guy, and Punk Rawk Grrrrl. 80s guy in particular drives me nuts, because you can tell that they're trying so damn hard to make Don Draper 2 and I just don't think they hit the mark.
