every once in a while our local thrift store gets a really good record collection in from someone who has died. It causes a frenzy with the regular thrift store record hunters. It also cause great joy for them to find rare items in with all the regular crap. I'd hate for my records and CDs to end up there if i died, but if that does happen at least it'll be making others happy. I would hope my wife would sell them for the best price she could get though...they cause her a lot of grief atm. lol

so, my Live in Copenhagen album arrived but record 2 is defective. They didn't hold any back for replacements. They are shipping black as a replacement (i hope, no confirmation yet) It's strange, there is about a 1/4 inch crack in the outside edge that effects the first 20 seconds on both sides. Packaging is all fine so it must have happened in the pressing plant.

This looks great! The rug is throwing me off a bit though. It's the same pattern as in the movie The Shining, which is fantastic! The left side of the pattern seems to line up perfectly on the end, but the right of the pattern is skewed and doesn't line up....what's going on there?
