Just to add to the confusion I got this response from resident after asking for clarification about the coloured vinyl.

"Standard version is black, ‘Caramel/Orange’ are the same – just different details been given for each territories. So there’s the standard black, Indies only orange/honey & Rough Trade edition."

So they're suggesting the orange and the honey (caramel) are the same but I've seen two different stickers on the front... one saying translucent orange and the other caramel mix...

Feel the same as you guys about the singles and the direction if their last couple of albums.

Bit disappointed The National's release is a cassette...

Album is great! 4-5 listens now and gets better and better. Obviously very different from their prior work but great none the less

I missed the red and then checked each, holding out for the obvious pink variant that never came. Ending up with yellow is not so bad and probably what I would’ve picked from the other four given the choice. Doing a black one was dumb. 

Yeh, I ordered the first and then the second and then I was like well, i'm gonna have to get them all now! I actually think it's a really smart vinyl release plan and wouldn't be surprised if other releases followed suit...

I managed to snag all 5 variants. Got lucky with the 5th. It had sold out and then I refreshed a few times and 1 came back into stock, then sold out again. Pretty excited for this. The single is spot on!

Got some PJ nuts here in Australia flipping their lids because it sold out before we had a chance to wake up! Was sold out by like 5AM here...
