    Well, yeah, Jedi is definitely the weak point in the original trilogy. (insert Clerks clip.) I'm a big Star Wars fanboy though. Empire is probably my favorite movie of all time. ANH is pretty awesome too. I actually still haven't seen the third in the Dark Knight trilogy. Don't know what's holding me up.

    That's pretty sweet looking. I hadn't heard about the new Mad Max until today. I'll probably check it out when it comes out, but I've only seen the first one a long, long time ago.

    That's what a figured. I'll probably hold on to it for a while then. I've been thinking of selling off all my 7" lately though, because I rarely listen to them and I've got some Beach House and Best Coast ones that people are paying outrageous prices for. I find it hard to sell stuff though, even when the prices get nuts.

    You're definitely not crazy. The mouth really conveys the whole person when their eyes are closed...which is always in funeral service.

    Quick question for you dudes who may know/care: I've got a copy of Algernon Cadwallader - Fun 7". It is on white vinyl (1st press). I would say it's as close to nm as it gets. It is also signed, though I can't see that affecting the value at all. Someone on Discogs is trying to sell it at $40, but that seems pretty steep to me. What would you guys say it's worth/would pay for it if I end up selling it?

    I hear that. I love my job, but there are slight annoyances now and then that build up. Nothing that makes me really hate it like past jobs I've had though.

    I really try to concentrate on getting the mouth right. It's been a big deal to me since before I started and I really think it's the most important part in making the person look like the person. The nice thing the family said to me was something like: "She really does just look like she's sleeping, she looks better than when we saw her last. Thank you."

    I sure like it when I get them! I've had a great number of really kind/funny families and only one or two really hard ones. I'm just waiting for the day when I get some real jerks and I have to just grin and bear it.

    It really is sometimes. I got a very nice compliment from a family the other day about what a great job I did on their loved one though and it really made my day. They were just an awesomely nice family through the whole thing too, and it was an expected death of a very old person.

    Thanks! The person actually came out looking great. I've felt really good about my last 10 or so embalmings. My boss says I'm doing a great job, especially considering how few I've done, so that feels really good. Plus our administrator said that my boss would never have even considered letting the last apprentice do embalmings by herself, but he doesn't think twice about it with me.

    But aren't Evil Dead 1 and 2 pretty much the same movie? LOtR is pretty sweet though, aaaand....unfortunately I've never watched the Godfather trilogy.

    My day just goes by so slowly when we're not busy. Luckily I had an embalming today, so the first half of my day flew by!

    Yikes! Too hot. I live in a building, so my records either get delivered to my door inside, or they don't get delivered and I have to pick them up. Glad things slowed down for you, though sometimes that's just as bad or worse than being busy.
