I can't imagine too many more "big things" coming from that list today, but I could be wrong.
That's the US list in near-full I imagine. Still got the UK one to come.

Could this be the worst list, ever, for RSD? Looking at the fab.ca leaks, there's only 1 maybe (for me) of 91 items. Bubble burst?
Yeah, cos, bubble bursting is a list of 91 items from mostly junk labels that get their poor quality live stuff up early because RSD is all they have going for them.

FTFY.

FYI - If anyone bought the bundle, you'll probably be getting an extra bonus that may take the sting off.

If District Lines can't seem to keep count of how many they have, I doubt it.

I remember when Phoebe posted about these on her FB back in November as being the last copies. Surely there can't be many left by now.

That 's in the UK however, and the price translates to $27.12, before whatever the shipping may be. Not an amazing price for us here. I would guess that the US Rough Trade store would get these too, but may not be cheap there either.
Then order it from Amazon or Bullmoose or wherever you US types go to get your bargains. I imagine this will be easy to get in indie stores regardless.

Rough Trade pre-order is up. Nice price too (for a change).

Did they come in shitty 90s shrink wrap too??
Yep. With splits here and there along the edges.

My copies arrived from Juno today (apols to that dude who missed out).
I don't know what to say kids, but these look like legit 90's copies.
The sleeves match with ones I've seen, right down to the manufactured and traded by Dutch East India Trading/Grass Records credits and barcodes on the rear.

Wow, that's a blast from the past. Some great tracks on that album. I'm in.

I've emailed within seconds of the FB post going up the last few weeks, maybe more and haven't seen anything yet. I know posting to the UK is $20+ out the window . I wouldn't blame them if they put the O/S winners records on a slow boat to save themselves $$.

Only signed "BE", not the full signature like earlier this year on Rough Trade exclusive CD copies of Reflection.
That's how he signs his name now. I met him at a launch for his 'Light Music' book a few months back and that's how he signed it.

Picked up copies from Rough Trade today. One of the staff said he signed 100 of each album and they'd been selling quicker than they expected. You might want to be on it come Monday

Did anyone get a cereal box and a litho when they picked up their copy instore? (got my from Rough Trade in London - they still had some).

Norman Records finally put their preorder up for the orange 12". Good price. Copies still available...

Ouch, that's serious bullshit. I am worried about my Cocteau Twins, they are coming from Juno and they now use the flimsiest mailers ever (They used to use good ones). I hate these Europe only releases..
Just got an order from Juno yesterday and their mailers were anything but flimsy. Rest easy!

What are the odds Juno has a copy of Elastica? A lot of their RSD 2017 stuff went online but not that one...
Refreshing pretty regularly for that one...
Was in Rough Trade earlier today thinking they might have a few lurking around but nope!

in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Posted · Edited by moodist
Now here's something I've been waiting to happen for a LONG TIME!
Pre-order -- Matador US Store
Pre-order -- Matador UK Store
"It's the 25th anniversary of Liz Phair’s landmark 'Exile in Guyville' album and to mark it, Matador Records are releasing 'Girly-Sound To Guyville', an extensive limited-edition box set to celebrate the anniversary.
The box set contains the first ever official release of the legendary 'Girly-Sound' songs, which have been restored from their original three cassettes and mastered onto vinyl. It also contains a remastered double LP edition of 'Exile In Guyville' and a 44 page book containing an extensive oral history, essays by Liz Phair and journalist Ann Powers, never-before-seen photographs, artwork and ephemera.
Originally released in 1993, 'Exile In Guyville' is a seminal album and a feminist landmark. Its legendary status has only grown over the years. It’s continually included in countless lists…Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest albums of all time + 100 best albums of the 90s, Pitchfork’s Top 100 albums of the 90s and so on. Numerous essays and think pieces have been written about it and the number of accolades piled on is endless.
Since the release of 'Exile in Guyville', Liz Phair has continued to defy expectation and break barriers. She has released five albums, and is currently working on a new one with Drift favourite Ryan Adams. She has also composed music for television shows and received awards for her trouble. She's also fulfilled a longtime dream to be an author, and she received a two-book deal with Random House. Her first book will be called 'Horror Stories'. which focuses on “heartbreak, motherhood, and everything in between.”
