D- review for your entertainment
”Overall, I would not recommend this album for anyone unless you are drowned in so much teenage angst that you have no other outlet.”

It doesn't seem like a terrible method.... i was expecting this to be a joke haha.
Especially when the word “easy” is followed by 9 required items. Then, a male bum cover.

1- Play Lp60 out of laptop speakers. Comes out of both L and R? Move on. (Do laptops do stereo? I’m assuming so. Or, does the LP60 have a direct headphone jack to try?)
2- Lose the Yeti, test via headphone jack out of laptop into headphones. Comes out both L and R? Move on.
If it fails 1, it’s the LP60, cord, or computer.
If it fails 2, it’s the headphone jack, cable, or headphones.
If it passes 1 and 2, it’s the Yeti.
Someone check my logic. The basics...test with as few components as possible, expanding as things continue to work.
Also, mods, move this to equipment section.

If it's the exact same jacket as the Milk records one, I'm gonna throw my yellow copy in this
I was thinking the same. Discogs regular LP claims barn door.

P4k @ 9.0 BNM! Well deserved.

Yeah, very impressed upon first listen. It's like "street thug jazz" or something.

My local has a $60 version up with a 10/27 release date..... http://www.beindependent.com/p/19916017/brand-new-science-fiction Hmmmmm..
Based on irresponsible research, my guess is UK import. BM also has it listed.

well sure, if you sing different words in a different key to different notes.
Cant Get It Out Verse is G# to C and then throwing in a high D# on some variations
In The Garage verse is B to C# to a low D#
The progression is similar. (Distance between the main notes is the same, not considering transition notes).
Using a crappy online tempo tool, 98 Weezer, 96 Brand New.
Vocal melodies vary, somewhat similar initially.
Yes, the words are different.
As a musician, they didn't rip anyone off, and I don't think anyone really thinks they did. It's just similar and fun to discuss.

What's next? Wood glue?

So many moments on this album when I stop and say, "Wow!" Seems super produced, in the best way possible. Guitar tones. Subtle build ups. It all just fits together.

While you wait for the new album, you should check out Stella Donnelly . She is the only other artist I've come across that contains a similar spark as Ms Baker. Apologies, don't let this derail the thread. Also, no vinyl. Also, cassettes sold out. Also, I'm a lil drunk.

Yeah, good 90's rock. The second track's verse is pretty much In The Garage. Can't unhear it.
