Anyone watch theirs yet? I just finished Part 1 and it looks/sounds great. I had a bit higher expectations of the picture quality, but didn't take the original source in consideration. The bonus features on disc 1 are great too.. X signing their Slash contract, Brendan giving a tour of the Masque (different than the one on youtube) plus a ton of extra songs + interviews. Can't wait to watch the other two since I've yet to even see them.

Love Tommy Stinson's stuff, still haven't checked out Perfect yet though.

Finally got an Elektra pressing of Television's 'Marquee Moon' for a pretty good price. Sounds real gooood! Does anyone bid on Jerry's Records auctions? It's only the second time I actually won an auction from them, but they list some pretty good stuff every month.

I think one of the benefits of the current vinyl 'craze' would be if the major who released it on CD (RCA?) would release both on vinyl in the states. Not sure if that would happen, but why not?

I bought the black version from KRM and it was the same price. That's why I figured there was a cheaper standard version. I posted above that the red had a 6/30 release date for some reason. That's probably why yours didn't ship yet.

I've fucked up the past few weeks and have been bumming one or two after almost a year without one, but I bought a pack today. Fuck! Satan, we need help!! My rationalization is that the cost and shitty feeling from the pack I bought won't make me buy another. Satan, the only thing that takes the edge off for me is the lozenges. Are you still doing the patch?

So it seems ALL copies have a die-cut sleeve.. when they first posted the pre-orders initially, it seemed like only the red copies had it as a 'deluxe' version. Also not calling the label out or anything like that, just trying to have fun by figuring out all the variants for this bad boy. Black /1000, Green /2000, Red /???, White /???

Even more on ebay. 'Let It Be' averages about $100 and 'Sorry Ma..' for a little less. I've been lucky with my copies of their later albums and only payed around $20-25 when the ocassional BIN goes up in the middle of the night. I got my copy of 'Stink' from a VC member for crazy cheap too.

Awesome, I've only heard 'Speak For Yourself' which is great. Why only press 500 though? I think there's a demand for a bit more especially for the first album which is still out of print. Just my thoughts on it.

I will definitely be picking this up, the first season is hilarious and hopefully since it's straight to DVD they don't censor this one. "MAN..AAAA...GER.. Yeah, this looks great, love the artwork. I only have Stink from the Twin/Tone years so this will do until I find the other og pressings for cheap (aka never). I can def see a part 2 Warner/Sire years after this, but I have all of those.
