Yep. There's no justifiable reason that the direct consumers shouldn't have received this first or simultaneously with regard to stores. IMO.

I think one thing that I really like about this rerelease (and others like it) is the bonus tracks only being on the D side. That way you can keep it true(ish because rearranged) to your memory and not play side D OR play side D.

That's a pretty quick sell especially considering that some people are probably waiting to get paid. I imagine this will be long gone before/ by the end of next week.

I actually got really "lucky" with this. My wife and I used random 45s from old jukeboxes as placecards for our wedding (music-themedish) and I have about seven wooden 7" crates that each hold around 100 7"s. I would sell some, but my wife has such sentimental attachment to wedding stuff I can't even put stickers on the crates...anyway I have a seemingly neverending supply of 7" storage.

Sometimes I buy my "really special songs" on 7" just BECAUSE they are really special. It's just kind of a thing to me. But like a lot of people, I rarely play 7". They're like the baseball cards of "the hobby"

Yeah...not the point. They are probably going to make a lot of dough off of this release as a whole. I'm just pointing out a figure on the 100 test presses. Also to comment on your previous post, I do think this is kind of cool. i just don't want to pay $62 for something I will be annoyed with listening to in 5 months (+/-) because there will be approx. 3 songs on every side. So I'm buying a 2LP off of someone else. Problem solved. Edit: I'm not criticizing them for making money. It's kind of the point. It's just petty how they are going about it. 100 TPs is basically just a shitty looking limited variant.

Guys, they're bringing in an extra $7000 from test presses alone. On top of however much profit is rolling in from the packages themselves. Gravy train.

I would pay $60 for this LP. I probably will. But I seriously do not want to flip it over (and over and over...) every seven - ten minutes.

So what you're saying is wait for the onslaught of eBay listings and buy that for half the price? K thanks!
