I'm sure they are the same. I'm not a huge Disney Soundtrack fan, BUT I gotta say my wife's expression and the joy that (fucking) $75 3LP set has brought into my home was worth it. If you have kids around or a spouse obsessed, this $20 pic disc is prob way worth it.

I don't know how many man-hours worth of pay I have given to C&C, but the scary thought of even considering calculating it will not stop me from buying all 3 of these variants at $40 a pop nor will it deter me in the future from spending insane dollar amounts on things that I already have (every comic variant/ TPB of all those variants/ toys/ posters/ teeshirts/ movie tickets--one day). Even though I would (likely) never spend $40 on any other band's 2LP. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I may have a problem worth seeking counseling over, but until I am threatened with divorce/ foreclosure I am going to keep on keeping on.

I picked up one of the blue/ white on the tour where they were first made available. I'm pretty sure they're 180g. May be less, but they are pretty heavy. Aside from that, they play beautifully and look awesome. I def recommend getting one to anyone who doesn't already have this album.

While this makes perfect sense, Claudio literally said in an interview with Billboard that he repressed the album because he wanted a copy and fans had been asking for it blah blah blah...so I don't know what to think regarding the rights to the music. Obviously Sony would have the rights unless they were sold back to the band (which is a great investment for them to make). Completely agree 100% all the way. Oh gotcha, you were exaggerating, i sometimes miss sarcasm/ exaggeration on the internets. It's true that they do sell signed stuff, but it's not really more expensive than the unsigned stuff. For instance at NYCC I bought the PFI "Half Measures" unsigned and waited to have it signed ($15). At Uproar last summer I could have bought the black variant signed for $15. Same with Afterman records and all that jazz. The question is: "Is $15 too much for a 10", likewise is $20 too much for a nine track LP?"

They probably will, but I vote closer to $10 for it (what's a tape cost...50 cents to make?). Sidebar: wonder if Mic Todd gets any rights to some of this money they are going to make on the repress?

The only thing that would keep it at that price (I think) is if Coheed will only sell the product to distributors for $40. Then they have to mark up, and storefronts mark up more. THAT would make me a little angry at the 'Heed. But not enough to prevent me from buying all the things.
