Real quick story @ Will: I bought a ticket from you for my buddy's birthday back in the summer. Fast forward to yesterday. My wife wakes up with the flu and gives up her Platinum VIP to the same guy I bought the ticket for. I asked another friend if he wanted to go, but he was a couple handfuls deep in shrooms, so that was a no. I first tried to sell the ticket, then tried to give it away to no avail. Point: I paid you for a ticket that ended up being dead space...you were there in spirit I suppose.

Yeah i was pretty bummed on that myself. But I also decided that though I want them both (especially Long Drive), I already ordered from GP and black is fine with me. Just me though.

Yeah when I went to NYCC last year I snagged the white (the last variant I needed) and had Claud/ Chon sign it. Collection completed. They did sell out of the splatter that Saturday, though. But when I got there (first table I approached upon opening) they had every variant. This will happen with IKSSE3 repress. I am certain of this.

I concur that no one should touch them, but Coheed fans (myself included) are a "now, Now, NOW!" bunch and they will all vanish. Some will pop up in one of two ways: 1. in a year or so the coheed eBay outlet will auction or BIN a few (depending on how many are "found") 2. There will be a mysterious box appear to be sold at conventions (NYCC, SDCC, etc).

That's what is happening on Saturday at Hammerstein. Coatcheck mailer records are rad.

That is the assumption. Usually HT doesn't like to "give away" media. That's why the only vinyl up is the (newly) clearanced vinyl. Someone said before they think it slipped through the cracks. I concur.

Unfortunately I searched all morning to no avail. I think they send discounts with their newsletter (but they prob don't work for vinyl anyway).

He means (assumes) this was accidental and they are shutting it down.

Make sure you hit up the merch table at the show. The glacial pace people were really awesome and informative (they are the sole reason this <duplicate> thread was created). Not to mention, they have all kinds of fun goodies and may even have some of these early. Who knows!? Oh, and enjoy the show. Remember "freebird!"

Not that I doubt you, but where is the news on this? I remember SC announcing it like a year (or more) ago and asking for videos from fans. I even emailed them asking when, and they said "it's taking longer than anticipated, but it is still happeninig."

I got mine from Chardee and it was black (but beautiful).

If anyone is going to the Hammerstein show, I'll be in the front pretending I actually still have the energy for it while simultaneously trying to prevent the crowd from crushing my vinyl, cassette, and wife (in that order). Maybe you can come help me defend the vinyl's honor.

No it's the single LP with extra tracks from the original. It came in some shoddy pvc sleeve with an insert of the cover. It may be a boot for all I know...it is pink, so that's fun. Edit: what permafaust said

Isn't it being sold at the Con? Also, I have actually been able to purchase ONE vinulz (that I wanted) from Mondo before sellout, ever. Halloween, which apparently there were 50k of becuase it was available for weeks.

Ima need to get that strawberry swirl version...it just sucks that I'll have to buy it second hand. I do actually NEED it, though. WTB is not the appropriate acronym here. NTB.
