  1. G?G! and splatter vinyl feel like a match made in heaven, for sure. Good call with the bundle. I still need to PO that Marriages. Dragging my feet for whatever reason...
  2. Anybody who got the 7" care to share which "random" color variant they got? Mine is an opaque plum-ish splatter.
  3. Think I will do the same. It sounds like tracks 7 & 8 are the noisy ones and those are my favorites. Bummer.
  4. Man, I've been trying to cut down on buying records lately but after hearing the new songs live last week I'm gonna have to jump on this.
  5. I think you meant 1/4 are from Woohoo, but I get what you mean. Not sure why those are being included, unless they made changes to the songs.
  6. San Diego shredders CHON are dropping their debut LP Grow on March 24 via Sumerian Records. Vinyl ships May 31 and is limited to 500 copies. 7. Nice. My friend and I saw him open on the TTNG tour back in November. Absolutely mind blowing live performance and really nice dude. I'll probably hold off on preordering and just pick it up at his next show. Really dig the first single.
  8. For some reason I thought they all had a limited run at some point, but I stand corrected! That makes these presses all the more sweet I suppose. I just finished listening to Superbass and More Skin back-to-back, it's going to be a real treat spinning these.
  9. Getting way pumped for the represses. Mostly MSWMM, it was that album along with American Don and Tera Melos' Untitled that really ignited my affinity for math rock.
  10. What genre would you put them under? I understand it's not traditional black metal... Experimental black metal?
  11. Hellz yeah, stoked to hear they're playing that. Probably my favorite song from Kitsune.
  12. It makes sense you say that, because their set wasn't that memorable for me outside of George's stage presence. I actually didn't even bother listening to their stuff afterwards until Sunbather started getting hyped. Roads To Judah has been my go-to when I need a Deafheaven fix though. That sounds about right, I think the one S/T song was Set Guitars To Kill. Their energy is limitless, here's hoping they make it stateside this year.
  13. That's actually the tour I was referencing! What was that, summer 2012? I'm pretty sure they only played Gangs/pre-Gangs material. I sadly didn't know about Deafheaven at the time so I wasn't that engaged during their set, I'm a big fan now though. I try to never miss a Russian Circles show, although ironically I spaced out while studying last week and missed their Portland date. Not a huge deal considering how often they hit the road...
  14. Well said. I got the chance to see them when they were touring Gangs, probably in my top-3 favorite live performances ever.
  15. I wasn't a huge fan of AHBF compared to their older stuff. I'm excited to hear this regardless.
  16. Got a chance to chat with Emma at a Tera Melos show in Portland a few months back, such an awesome person and insanely talented musician. Some Heavy Ocean was my favorite album of 2014 and Kitsune has been a mainstay in my rotation. Really looking forward to the new album and seeing them play with Helms Alee next week.
  17. Aesthethica is one of my favorite black metal albums. Im not sure how I feel about the new song, not really digging the tame vocals compared to the shrieks of old. Probably gonna hold off on preordering for now.
  18. I need to freshen up my knowledge of foreign currencies! My order total came out to 16.25 GBP shipped, but I was initially under the impression that this was Euros not GBP. So I did pay the $25 USD, not $19 USD had it been Euros. Still way happy with that number.
  19. Nice, I just pre-ordered one of those. It ended up being less than $19 USD shipped somehow. I'm not complaining...
  20. Mew are brilliant. Hopefully shipping to the states won't be outrageous. I'd cut off a toe for an ATGHK press.
