Damn. Wish I would have figured that out before I picked up the rfc variant. Guess I’ll grab both.

Mi malo, I'll edit my post to include and hopefully help others

Those alternate covers look awesome. Been meaning to sign up for their patreon for a while, now I have a reason.

If you're a really big fan, I'd say it's worth it; the band is pretty active with the fan base there, and they post a ton of alternate versions of songs, monthly covers, and they have recently been sharing new demos they're working on, giving everyone a peek behind the curtain.

Couldn't hold off. This record is fantastic. Definitely lived up to my high expectations.

Same here; with Springtime and Blind being one of my favorite releases of the past few years, I was cautiously optimistic that they would be able to live up to the hype, but they absolutely killed it.

  5. From the Bandcamp description:

You should partner with a vinyl sub service, like Vinyl Me Please or Magnolia, that brings in a lot of new/first time collectors who would be interested in a slightly fancier accessory for their exciting new hobby. People here will e-stab you to death if you dare try and start any vinyl related business that isn’t printing bootleg Brand New LP slip covers.

It is so fucked up that I see genuine feedback on this board for once, and I have to keep double-checking the site I'm on.

  7. I'd say it varies from person to person; I personally don't put too much stock in first pressings or anything like that, but I know that some hold them in higher regard, considering they become more and more rare as time goes on. How that stacks against something that is much more limited and newer is a personal preference.

If I was in your shoes, I agree with the post above: B or C. bonus points if the packaging/artwork is non-standard

It’s the ALC version w/ instrumentals - it will be the same as the LULU drop:

    $100 variant

    $70 varisnt

    $45 Black open pre-order

Following up on this, site is showing:

    $75 color variant (/400)

    $50 color variant (/600)

    $30 black variant (/1000)

for both the standard and instrumental versions

Black is not an open preorder as previously thought, so don't sleep on this if you were planning on it.

  9. Excellent first listen. Was putting off picking this up, but ordered the indie exclusive after listening in full. Question for anyone who has a copy already: is the download card that comes with the record by any chance one that redeems to Bandcamp? Don't have much experience with Pure Noise, so I'm just trying to gauge if I should just pull the trigger on a digital copy there or if I should just wait it out until I get my copy in hand.

    Thanks in advance.
