Possibly considering a DAP other than iPod that can play the high res stuff. Although I have no intention to pay for "HD" tracks, there is always the free shows on Archive and various other places. Dave Grohl do you get many tunes from places like HD tracks?

Btw just saw that Pearl Jam CD at the thrift store and can't see it the same anymore. That and Beverly Hills Cop on vinyl for @ $2 in good shape but I had no money on me, just went to browse. I hope it will be there when I go back!

Oh yeah I should get back to season 2. I was so excited it was free on Prime but didn't end up binge watching it like I do others.

Never heard of Brand New until I joined VC, but I have ignored most rock bands since the late 90s when (good) rock ended.

Then maybe that store is an indie indie store. That or they actually have something I would know in the store but not so much on the site. I might go check it out but I could just order from bandcamp instead.

I recently won a signed Brian Wilson but I want this way more and only just found it today. Sorry it might be too late but for anyone wondering its a signed Foo Fighters test pressing. Saw the costume yesterday and it looks a little weird. I really need to bum my friends Netflix to go with their prime.

So if a shop that looks like it sells mostly stuff you would find on Bandcamp says "we are doing RSD but we won't get anything we wouldn't usually get." are they getting anything special? Maybe most of the list? Because I haven't heard of a lot of the names on there.

When I think "indie record store" Im not thinking mom and pop shop, is that what it is? Or like the one I saw online today that sells indie labels releases only.

I didn't even know this was a thing until I was browsing the online selection of a store not too far from me. It looked like it was all Bandcamp stuff and a lot more I've never heard of. I can't imagine that is all they have in the store and it keeps them open.

Yeah I started at season 2 which seemed fine to me. I borrowed the DVDs and haven't seen the last season so when my friends just started watching it tonight I went home so I could see it later. Couldn't help watching the recap at the start though and just that alone spoiled a few deaths for me. Oops!

Maybe tonight I will watch that one episode I have access to. I did enjoy Sound City and had planned to get the album but still haven't.

Hehe. This and the S shaped tone arm are not going to make you trust Crosley over night. It would take years even if tomorrow they put out something great. They might have felt forced into this because internet comments and reviews give away their secret to anyone who takes 5 minutes to look them up and doesn't just grab one.
