  1. Sounds awesome if what Wikipedia describes is accurate. I would pay just to stream Raw but if the ppvs are included too then there isn't any question at all.
  2. I just caught up on Raw last night. It was one of the better episodes in recent memory. The Punk/Rollins match had a few gaffs but a few nice spots as well. I'm not sure how I feel about Bryan joining the Wyatts. I've loved the Wyatts since they were in NXT and I'm excited to see them getting a push but it feels like a major downgrade for Bryan. It felt like they had the potential to do something really cool with the Wyatts and Kane and it just sort of fizzled out. The Bad News Barrett segment in the last episode was incredible.
  3. Snowing is the reason my friends and I started the first band I was in, making then the reason I started playing music, so that's why they are important to me. They were, with Algernon and Glocca Morra and few others integral to spreading this type of music to a new generation. They were extremely emotionally charged with no bullshit and that left a huge impression on a lot of people. Also they were probably the second most popular emo band behind Algernon at the time, and released their LP for free, unannounced. So very proto-Beyonce as well.
  4. I actually kind of got the same vibe. It looked to me like Cena missed that table and took it full force to the head without breaking, however, he didn't look swollen afterward, so I dunno. Either way, while it may not have been the bore fest I expected, it still by was no means great, and certainly lackluster for what was a fairly significant event in WWE history. Punk's match was really good. Bryan's was super interesting. The tag match was good aside from the fact that Mysterio/Show shouldn't have been there. The rest was Smackdown quality stuff. That Brodus Clay match was straight up embarrassing.
  5. Surprise Kofi/Miz match. This is the worst surprise ever.
  6. Jenoah's song on that Drive Thru christmas cd and The Benjamins' song on Welcome to the Family are GREAT.
  7. Good match. The ending actually made good use of the 3 v 1 format.
  8. I'm inclined to believe it will never see the light of day. It's been such a hyped event for years that short of revealing the meaning of life or putting the player directly in contact with God, it would disappoint. Plus games with long gestation periods generally run into technical and other issues, i.e. Diablo III and Duke Nukem. I also feel like Valve is a company that has made it a point to constantly push forward as opposed to backpedal simply to appease people.
  9. Yeah. The thing I had read in the book was talking about him being put on leave for telling Mark Henry that he was "more of a nigger" than Mark Henry was, and mentioned that he had a history of racism beyond any in-ring antics. I didn't like him before just because he's always pushed for the lame muscleheads and been against more unique wrestlers like Mankind. I didn't even know he was an ass outside of business.
  10. Also I was just telling someone about how much I disliked Michael Hayes, and this book sheds new light on him that makes me think he sucks even more.
  11. I'm halfway done and it's really good so far. I was kind of hoping it would be a little more of a casual read so I could get my girlfriend to read it and maybe understand my appreciation for wrestling a bit more but otherwise it's been great.
  12. I just got a copy of this from the library. About to dive in.
  13. Promo of the year: Heyman imitating Paul Bearer like, a week after his death, with Punk attacking Taker. It was so over the top I thought Bearer's death was just a hoax for awhile. Match of the year: Tough. I really liked Punk/Taker and Bryan/Cena. There were a lot of really good tag matches this year too between The Shield, Hell No, Goldust and Cody, and the Rhodes Scholars.
  14. I had the Green Bullet a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if mine was just old but it was fairly mild, even compared to some single IPAS. It tasted good but I would have liked some more pronounced flavor. Founders Devil Dancer is a great triple IPA. The first year I had it, it tasted closer to straight, fresh hops than any beer I've ever had.
  15. Currently making a playlist on Spotify of my favorite xmas music. Thought I'd share and see what other people are listening to since I'm sure I'm missing lots of good stuff. I'm still working on mine. Please Come Home for Christmas - Aaron Neville Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Death Cab for Cutie It Must Have Been Ol' Santa Clause - Harry Connick, Jr. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause - Jackson 5 Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey Last Christmas - Wham! Yule Shoot Your Eye Out - Fall Out Boy Christmas is the Time to Say 'I Love You' - Billy Squier I'm looking for a download of Sleigh Bells and Wine by Jason Gleason if anyone could help me out. I own the cd but it's not at my house at the moment.
  16. "I thought I heard a plane crashing but now I think it was your passion snapping" are some of the most monumentally awful lyrics ever.
  17. Damn. I'm excited to hear this version of Hanging Moon. I love that song and album.
  18. Selling is making a move look good, such as in the gif above where if sandbagged, Goldust would just fall on his face without 'hurting' Rollins. Bumping is taking a move without actually hurting yourself. Thanks for trying.
  19. Rollins is one of the best sellers around right now.
