Well the presale tickets are more expensive than the general on sale but it's being done by shirts for a cure and I'm pretty sure I read al the money from presales is going to them. So $50 to go towards cancer research and see refused is pretty good in my books.

Ben Barnett posted on his facebook page yesterday that $100 Room will be pressed finally (and possibley remastered). He's also doing a full band tour. Here's his Facebook Status update. KOLS tour... gonna happen four to five weeks, get at me with ideas, just getting the routing and details together know. only confirmed show is 4/28 in Brooklyn... more soon. If all goes as planned we should be touring as band. Also 100 Dollar Room is going to be reissued on vinyl, (hopefully remastered).

I really didn't like The Skin I Live In. I found it completely unappealing. Like a Sci-Fi flick void of any fun or wonder. It was an odd film. That's the exact reason I lovedit. Also the acting was great and it was consistantly suprising.

Midnight in Paris was great. I'm shocked Ides of March wasn't nominated for best picture because it was better than all of the other movies nominated (except midnight in paris and Tree of Life). Also suprised The skin I live in wasn't nominated for best foreign film.

I'll be there! Apperently there is a special charity presale today at 3pm est and general onsale tomorrow at 12pm est. This is according to their facebook post. Still hoping for a Toronto show. Ticketmaster has on sale date of Friday for $36 after service charge.

So I think I've settled on getting a hackintosh. I can get one for $800 and it's got a 4.1Ghz processor. 8 gigs of ram, it's a quad core, 1.88 Bus Speed (no idea if that's good but i'll assume it is). Comes with a monitor, keyboard mouse and speakers. Also here's hoping my laptop gets the free repair.

Well I called apple and the model is still under warranty another two months and it wouldn't be though. I didn't mention I bought it used (which should really matter I guess) and I didn't mention I already had this fixed once from another computer company. Hopefully they either don't notice or it doesn't void the warranty. Thanks a lot.

I think it is the 2008 model but I bought mine used from someone two years ago so I assume I wouldn't be able to get a free logic board replacement.

The new ones seem fast enough. I do audio editing. But I just realized your right it doesn't come with a superdrive. I could in theory buy a separate one but that will add a bit more money. I can also get a monitor and keyboard and mouse for $100 so it doesn't bring the price up that much. This sucks.

Does anyone here have any experience with a mac mini? I have a macbook pro that just died. Five months ago the video card chip on the logic board burnt out and I got it replaced for $300 and I'm pretty sure the exact same thing happened last night. The mac book is about 4 or 5 years old so it's probably not worth fixing again. I'm debating going the route of a mac mini, does anyone have any experience with them? Also I don't want this to turn into a mac vs pc debate.

Yeah, the venue in Toronto isn't great and tickets were about the same but they sold out pretty fast. Now they are going for around $100.

My copy has a large surface scratch over bonfire and it has a pretty audible pop every few seconds. Amazon is sending me a new one though. I'm bummed I missed out on a ticket for the Toronto show, I wasn't expecting it to sell out this fast.

Hey, so I slept on tickets for the Childish Gambino show in Toronto. Does anyone have a single ticket by any chance? It's a long shot but I figured it's worth a shot.
