This, but more so kind of like spitting. Kind of like spitting are easily my favorite band. I'm really excited for the blunt mechanic album to come out at the end of the month. I liked the tour only cd Ben put out last year too.

Ornette Coleman's the shape of jazz to come is just unreal. Get John Coltrane's a love supreme and giant steps. anything by miles davis till about 1974. If you want to check out some good Jazz Fusion check out Birds of fire by the mahavishnu orchestra or heavy weather by weather report. Stan Getz is also great.

So I don't know how many people here know the band Ken Mode but they are an awesome metal from Winnepeg band I consider them a cross between At the drive-in, botch and The Jesus Lizard. I just got into them about a month ago and they announced a tour today and that they will be recording a new album produced by Kurt Fucking Ballou!!! So figures that yesterday is the one day I didn't check out the forum. Oh well I snagged a copy with the shirt this morning glad it didn't sell out.

Man, this show just keeps getting better and crazier. I love it.

Something tells me it has to do with the chicken shack guy, also knowing this show that probably takes place about 5 episodes from now. Man I can't wait till next week.

I do really like this album but just like every murder by death album it's going to take about 5 listens for me to really love it. They change their sound so much from album to album that it's initially a little jarring but once I start to know the songs it falls into place. I do like the idea of it being all acoustic though, I remember reading an article (maybe in AP) while they were recording in boca al lupo that it was supposed to be all acoustic guitars and no distortion but they obviously scrapped that idea for that album.

I really want to like this more than I do, to me the production just sounds really cheesy, I feel like I can hear autotune all over toms voice too. I liked high pressure low a lot though, and ache with me is good except the chk-chk-ahh thing he does. The harmonies sound weird in the chorus as well if it didn't have those things I'd like the song a lot more. I'll see how the rest of this album sounds though. I'm also willing to give it a few more listens.

The show in Toronto was really awesome! My only complaint is I wish they could have played longer.
