  1. I just want to know how the LP sounds, especially since there were rejected Test Presses. Supporting Caste is one of the worst sounding LPs I own, which sucks because the production on that album is great.
  2. The most important question hasn't been asked. How does it sound?
  3. Yeah there weren't a ton of people there when Belvedere played. They were great though. I noticed a good portion of people left after The Fullblast too. Grade were great though!
  4. I'll be wearing a red hosehead records shirt if you see me and want to say hello.
  5. I'm from Owen Sound. I went to school at OIART in London in 2004-2005 and I live in Guelph now.
  6. I'm beyond excited for this album. Deathwish has released so many amazing albums this year! Judging from the few songs I've heard from this it's probably going to be my favorite album this year.
  7. I have a sealed How to clean everything on clear yellow I'd be willing to part with.
  8. Anyone on the board seeing this tour next month? I'm thinking of busing down to Brooklyn to catch it. Anyone wanna hang out with me? I don't know anyone else that wants to come down.
  9. I have the bottle rocket bluray which looks great. I imagine the transfer wouldn't be quite as nice as Rushmore or Royal Tennenbaums but those had much bigger budgets and looked better in general.
  10. I will definitely buy this but I'll wait to see if the price comes down. This is one of my favorite Primus albums though. The production on it is amazing!
  11. I finally convinced myself to get a copy of Let it Be on ebay yesterday. $40 plus shipping. Not terrible I suppose. I ended up getting a test press of hootenanny a few months ago which I am still in disbelief about. As it stands now I need Stink, Sorry mom... and All shook Down.
  12. I would do unspeakable things to have Volume 2 in my vinyl collection.
  13. Hey everyone. So my band is finishing up our album and we're starting to think about what we're going to do for cover art. Does anyone know any reasonably priced artists that do cover art for albums? Anyone on here that's been in my position do you just ask friends or whatever to design something? I've been talking to a guy who gave me a quote of $200-$400 for a complete package which seems pretty reasonable but I've never really been in the position to look for this kind of thing. We're kind of an 80's hardcore punk style band. Looking for something along the lines of Raymond Pettibon's black flag covers.
  14. Your site is saying shipping these to canada would be $75
  15. Chisel records is awesome. I've only done a couple orders with Andrew so far but he was very fast and included some bonus gifts in the package. Including a free copy of a black flag tribute cd! Also some garbage pail kids stickers.
  16. Zulu records is great. Audiopile is way better and cheaper though. Lots of good punk rock there. Zulu has shows sometimes and a good used section. http://www.zulurecords.com/ If you like noise rock at all get a Shearping Pinx record from Audit Pile. All their albums are $11 and their most accessable is Rituals or Void White. THey are the best band in Vancouver as far as I'm concerend. Also check out the Granville Island Brewery. You can just walk in and buy a beer and you don't have to set up a tour or anything you can see al the taks it's set up like a restaruant.
  17. They are playing at rise above bakery in St. Catherines On April 21'st and with Andrew Jackson Jihad in Toronto April 24th. I'll keep my eyes open for the rest though.
  18. Yeah, but they've also been doing metal shows lately too. I think they might be trying to expand on it.
