Yes I get you. I've just finished reading the full article and it's always the fucking same man, with the whole weinstein thing as well. Of course he is a scumbag for what he did, but the women were so god damn fame-hungry that they just couldn't help but play along.
When I read this about Pheobe Bridgers I thought I can't fucking believe it, man: "[Ryan Adams] offered her a few dates opening for him on tour in 2017, and after much discussion with her manager about Adams’s behavior, Bridgers said she accepted because it was a big opportunity before the release of her debut album." I'm sorry but I can't take her serious after this either. She and her manager could have easily said 'no' to this... but no, let's get famous everyone. And because of this she got to the place where she has a sold out tour with her new project now.
I'll still continue to buy his stuff because I love his music and thats what i'm paying for. Maybe Roman Polanski might be a perv as well but he is an incredible director and I won't judge art by the personality of the artist.
nice way to minimize things because somehow it's inconvenient for you to stop giving shitty people your money. as if because she opened a few dates for Ryan Adams in 2017 she got famous!? that's insulting. the 13 year-old bass player was "god-damn fame hungry" and couldn't help but play along? Roman Polanski isn't just a "perv", he was a 43 year-old man, who drugged and sodomized and 13 year-old girl. oh, then he plead guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. then on the eve of his sentencing he fled the country and hasn't been back since for fear of having to actually serve time for the unlawful sexual intercourse he plead guilty to. he's made some incredible films, but for fuck's sake...

I realized I haven't really liked any Young Guv stuff since the Young Guv & The Scuzz EP "A Love Too Strong", which I liked a lot.

My friend said they did not mention the release date.

Jealous! That's great news about the album though. Cannot wait.
I really hope we get a tour outside of the Riot Fest dates, too.

Jackpot in Portland just got their allotment of these 7" in yesterday. I had a friend pick one up for me. The 7" was free with the pre-order of their new LP, which I'm thinking is probably the Steve Albini album that was recorded around the same time as "For All My Sisters". Apparently the Albini album is the punk album to FAMS' pop album. There may be more 7" left, but I really don't know.

people aware of popmarket issues that still order popmarket stuff and complain about the issues they knew about are the best
Well, TBH this was the first time I've had a problem with a Popmarket order, but it's also the first time I've pre-ordered with them. I haven't paid attention to Popmarket threads on here. Cool condescending post though.

And this is why I stuck with BM for a little bit extra... too many horror stories from PM as of late. Although I did pick up a ~$9 3LP from them recently, it surprisingly shipped rather quickly.
Good luck to anyone who snagged these from them.
Emailed Popmarket this morning and they still don't know when they'll get the LPs in stock. Somehow every other online retailer was able to get them in stock on release day, but not Popmarket. Canceled the order there and will order through Bullmoose or Amazon now.

No shipping update from Popmarket for the ALK3 bundle order yet . Hopefully that'll come soon?

At one point the link to the Mystery Box said "7" box" in the URL, so I do think the Mystery Box is just a 7" box set of the Prisoner album, a chance to get one of the voice-o-graph records, and the stuff that's in the other Deluxe Bundle. I hate 7" box sets and I never listen to the ones I own. I'm probably just going to order the Indie Store Exclusive LP from Bullmoose.

I ordered on 12/26 around 1PM and mine's canceled. Bummer.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Dodge and Burn poster. It was the guys in the band dragging Allison away by her feet. It was pretty cool, I dug it. Mine didn't come with the poster. I called the vault and the sent me another package about 3 days later with just the poster. Really understanding and easy.
yeah, that's what I was talking about. i'm going to check the sleeve again when i get home, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't included. thanks.

The poster should be inside the record cover and the code can be tricky. I had to try three times on mine because I wasn't sure if one of the letters/numbers was 1, I, or l. I guessed wrong twice. Can't believe United uses those characters.
What does the poster look like? I'm not sure I got one with my package either.

I have my record collection insured through State Farm renters insurance. I provided them an inventory and value of my collection based on everything in Discogs and they accepted that, but they didn't seem very familiar with insuring record collections.

Bad packaging and the box was bent to shit, but somehow the outer sleeve and vinyl are fine. Ony issue is seam splits on the inner sleeve. I can live with that, but they couldn't have sprung for a couple pieces of cardboard?

Received my replacements on Monday and my copies are not warped. Listened to all for sides last night and the album sounds great. Sucks that there's still a warping issue for some of you. Seems like a nightmare for SubPop if this round of replacements have more than a few incidents of warping.

Do you remember what the price was the price on that? It's been taken down.

Just want to bump this thread to say these 7"s are available now and I'm stoked.
Hey there. Long time lurker here. Here's a link to my band's bandcamp page: https://theprettyflowers.bandcamp.com/
I guess I'd say we're an indie rock band. We're putting out a 7" in a couple weeks and the cover will look like this:

I wonder what the status is of replacements. I thought the timeline was mid-March?
I emailed SubPop about it. They responded with this:
Unfortunately, due to Record Store Day next month, the pressing plants have super tight schedules right now and we're just having to wait our turn in line to get on the presses. We're hoping to have these in our hands around the end of this month, but we haven't been given any guarantees on that front just yet, and it will likely not end up being until sometime in April. Sorry to not have a more concrete update!

Wow, don't know about you, but for me this Beach Slang news is like a heavy-hearted, youthful rebellion cigarette in the gutter, dusty thrashed record cover, glam-bam swagger of a kick in the balls.
